I stared at the leaf closely to know whether it was the one. The scent wafted into my nostrils, so strong that I started sneezing non-stop.
"Don't you know that you are not supposed to bring it close to your face? The scent can make you sneeze all day long," someone said behind me.
Involuntarily, I tilted my head toward where the sound came from. When I saw who the intruder was, I couldn't help but stammer as I spoke.
"G—Good day, Mi…Mister." I said, still sneezing. This time, it was getting worse than I expected. The stranger took an oil from his skinned bag and smeared it around my nose, just like magic, I didn't sneeze anymore.
Immediately, I fell to the ground. "Thank you so much; I truly appreciate it," I said, still bowing down.
He chuckled as he walked away. "Stop bowing down for me." His deep, rich voice sent shivers down my spine and I parted my lips to let some air escape from it.
