"Calhoun, you should leave!" The cold male voice rang through the crowd. Celine turned her head towards the direction the sound came from.
She saw her father, standing against the beautiful high table in the grand hall. His eyes held seriousness as she stared at Calhoun and Celine.
Celine didn't know what to do as she watched her father glaring at the man before her while Calhoun only smiled.
He left Celine's side, heading to the King's direction.
"My king," He began, bowing her head. He raised it but King Raphael didn't return the greetings.
"You should leave Calhoun before I dispatch the guards to throw you out," King said but judging by the way the tension grew between them, Celine guessed that the two somehow knew each other.
"Did you want them to find out about your daughter too? I thought you wanted to prove the rumor is fake." Calhoun whispered for the king to hear.
