After the whole thing that had just happened Max just layer on the grass thinking about what he had just learned.
'So I have a contract with that guy and the reason that I was isekaid to this world is because he was collecting a debt?so I'm here because of him,well at least the good thing is that he said that I can still use a good portion of my magic but it will still affect me'
He stayed there contemplating a bit more about the whole situation and decided that it was best to just leave it there and not think too much about the issue after all there was nothing he could do unless move forward.
Max:The sun is already coming down ahh another day wasted and I still haven't formed my magic core.
He went inside the house and noticed that Vance still hadn't returned.
'I guess the thing he had to do took a lot of his time,well don't have to worry about that for now let's eat I'm hungry '
He ate and then decided to read the magic book just to make sure that he has everything down pat to form his core and not mess anything up.
Max:Sooo it says that inside my body there are little shards all over and I should focus on concentrating them in the center of my body,it says here that the core isn't going to form immediately because it takes a lot of mental energy and just focusing for a long time period is bad for you,well I haven't really been that focused on the magic core itself but on the magic that Astrid said he sealed I really need to focus Haa.
He continued reading the book for some time and soon it was already dark outside and he was starting to get worried about Vance since he hadn't come back yet.
Max:I'm really starting to worry I mean I know that nothing could have happened to him since of course this is his city and his son is the Prince so I really have no reason to worry,I guess.
More time had passed and Max decided that it was best to not worry and he was already tired from all that happened today so he went to sleep.

He woke up feeling fully rested and he took a bath got dressed and decided that today he would start forming his core and he was very excited about this.
He went out of his room and noticed that Vance was nowhere to be seen

He looked inside the room and saw that he wasn't in his room and he started to panic.
Max:omg omg omg he isn't here where could he be?he wouldn't just leave and go would he?maybe he would he seems like the type of guy to just do whatever he wants but still he wouldn't just go.
He kept looking around frantically and couldn't find him anywhere until he heard someone knocking at the door.
Max:Someone knocking the door,he wouldn't do that,should I answer it?

Max:A girl?
He went to open the door and in front of him was a girl with long black hair tied in a single braid,pearl white beautiful skin and she had brown eyes.

Max:Alright sorry,so can I help you.
