Director:Seems like you're having a lot of fun huh Luka?
Max stopped feeling the pressure on him and could finally breathe.
Max:haaa *cough* *cough*
Vance went to his side and helped him up
Vance:You're okay there kid?
Max:I am now.
Director:My apologies it seems like Luka here was a little rough on you I hope you can forgive him.
Max looked at the boy that was looking at him with disgust and he could also feel anger welling up inside of him.
Max:Forgive him?After what he just did?I'm gonna kick his ass.
Luka:Heh and how are you going to do that you don't even have a mana core the way you are right now you can't even touch me.
Max couldn't really deny it he needed to form his core rapidly or else if everybody here decided to mess with him he wouldn't have a way to defend himself.
Director:Well I think you already had you're fun don't you?
She still had a smile on her face but she had a dangerous aura.
Luka:Whatever I don't wanna waste any more time with trash.
He looked at Max
"I hope you know now that you don't have a place here so you better not show your face in front of me again"
He left and Max was feeling even more irritated because of what he said.
'I'll show you what I can do,I'll form my core and then we'll see if you'll be able to say the things you're saying right now'
Director:Well now that the issue is resolved let's go to my office to talk a little bit what do you say?
Max still had some difficulty walking because of the pressure that was put on him,his legs were shaking a little bit so Vance helped him,they entered the office of the director andbit was a simple office there was nothing really special about it.
Director:Sit sit,first of all I really want to apologise because of his behavior,he's always been like that always so impulsive.
Max:His name is Luka right?really cocky that guy.
Director:Yes but you also didn't just accept his behaviour towards you.
Max:Yeah next time I see him I'm gonna beat his ass.
Director:Altough i like your enthusiasm he had a point without a core your just a ant to them,they'll just do the same thing over and over again.
Max:Doesn't matter I just need to form my core right?then I'll do just that and then no one will mess with me.
Director:I like your guts little boy,well here is your uniform and your classroom will in room 5 and I think you don't need to go there today,sInce you suffered exposure to mana directly directed at you and you don't have a mana core to protect you but it seems like you only need to rest.
Max:Thank you for accepting me in your school and treating me nicely.
Director:Don't worry about it I met many humans in my life when I went to to elfaria academy in the past,there were many good people that I met there humans,dwarfs,other elves as well and I will say at first I was like the other elves from here I had disgust for other races I though I was superior to them but because of that I had difficulties you alone can only go so far but then I met my best friend there and she was a human and I learned to set my pride aside when needed and I made many friends and was able to experience wonderful magic there.
Max:Is that so?then why aren't the others also in Elfaria academy if it is as good as you say?I know you have your school here but wouldn't it be better to have them experience that as well?
Director:Oh I guess you would think that,i created this school so people here could get a costumed to their mana and learn magic before they get to the age that they are able to go to Elfaria.
Max:Ohhhh that's a very nice thing to do,so at what age can you go to Elfaria?
Vance:People can go there when they are 16,you are fourteen right now so if you do well here maybe I'll allow you to go and take the exam there.
Max:Really?then I can I really gotta develop my core as quickly as possible.
Vance:Even if you want to create it quickly you should be careful cause you could create an unstable core that does not really help you and is very fragile and if it breaks because of your carelessness it will damage you forever.
Director:He's right about that I knew many people you did that and they had to give up on their dreams of becoming a mage because they were being precipitated.
Max:I didn't know all that.
Director:Well no harm was done and now you can focus on creating your core so go along now I'll be expecting you tomorrow morning and don't forget classroom number 5.
Max:Thank you director
