*Chapter 41: The Eagle Symbol*
The following day was a Monday, and Ayla woke up a bit late. Around 9:00 am. However, she felt replenished and full of energy. It turned out that having a good night's sleep was enough a problem solver.
"Good morning." Her stirring woke the man lying beside her up. He pecked her on the forehead and greeted gently. His voice was hot and sexy, perhaps because he had just woken up.
"Good morning." Ayla said and made to stand up, but Hayden held her waist tightly, refusing to let go. Ayla turned to look at him I'm confusion.
"Sleep a little more. " Hayden said sleepily.
"Oh." Ayla answered and lay down beside him. She didn't know when she drifted to slumberland.
Hayden waited until she slept, but he took out the tools he needed to accomplish his mission. He wanted everyone to mark her with his unique mark that only his hidden army knew of.
