Selena had been walking for thirty minutes now, she thought it would be nice to just walk around the mansion to get familiar with the place. No doubt Damien's mansion was huge, there were so many rooms that had not been open yet.
Selena found another room in the west wing, this room was very far from the master bedroom, Selena gently held the knob as she opened the doors slowly trying not to make any sound.
"Gym?" Selena asked herself as she walked into the room, she closed the doors behind her as her legs moved curiously. The gym looked old, dusty, it didn't look like anyone entered here often.
Selena walked around the place as she touched the equipment she walked by, she could see some cobwebs by the windows.
'Even though no one lives here at least the place should be clean' Selena thought to herself.
There wasn't much to look at and so Selena got out of the room, she looked left and then right.
"Fuck" Selena cursed when she couldn't remember the path she took, the two halls looked the same, one could hardly tell the difference, it was getting dark and the lights were turned off, Selena was sure shevwas lost.
'I might as well just continue with my tour' Selena thought as she walked in the left hall, she saw other rooms but they were locked, she continued to walk around the place and then she saw a room. The doors were slightly open, at first Selena thought that someone was already inside.
Still her curiosity was at it's peak, Selena gently opened the doors as she looked around the room but there was no one inside. The room was large, maybe the largest she had seen asides Damien's room, the room was empty, quiet , the only thing there was a piano.
The whole setting was rather odd, the piano was placed in the middle of the room, the curtains were closed making the room dark.
Selena slowly walked inside the room as she approached the piano, her hands gently brushed against the keys and then she stopped. She could hear footsteps, she looked behind her shoulders but there was no one there.
Selena turned on the keyboard as her hands glided around on the keys, back at the agency Selena had mastered how to play the piano. It was one of the rules, you had to master one instrument, Selena didn't know why she selected the Piano, well it was curiosity. The fact that a piano had the ability to show emotions, it was the best way one could express themselves.
Selena was tempted to play a song but she didn't think she would still remember the notes.
"You play?" Damien asked as he leaned on the door frame, he had been standing there for a while now just watching in silence. When he arrived he had checked the room but he couldn't find her. At first he thought she had ran off again, Damien didn't know why he wasn't happy with that.
"Yes" Selena answered still with her hands on the keys.
"It's past nine, I thought you would be sleeping already" Damien said as his eyes looked around the place, Damien couldn't remember the last time he entered this room, its been years now but the room was still in good shape.
"Who owns it?" Selena asked. The only people here were just Alfred and Damien and Selena was sure that Alfred didn't play the piano and of course Damien Parker was too busy to have time to learn how to play then why the hell was there a piano here.
"Come on let's go" Damien said. He didn't answer her question.
Selena looked behind when she heard his response, now she could see the problem here. The man was angry, for some reason he was mad, no wonder he was acting off, his answers to her questions gave that away.
"What happened ?" Selena asked as she walked towards him. He left hours ago saying he had an emergency to attend to, Selena wondered if that was the reason he was angry.
"Nothing" Damien answered as he held the door and waited for her to come out before he closed the doors.
Selena paused in her footsteps, she didn't know the way back to the room, Selena looked behind and saw Damien, it looked like he was also waiting for her to move first.
"Which way is it?" Selena asked. It was dark, even though she did know her way out, she won't be able to see anything. Damien had lived here for years so of course he should know his way around.
"Stay close" Damien whispered against her ears as he wrapped his one arm around her waist.
Selena caught her breath when she felt his touch, she took a deep breath as she tried not to loose herself.
"Let's go" Damien said as he walked while pulling her along with him.
Selena looked at him, though she couldn't see his face clearly, she could tell that he was angry, his grip was tight on her wrist and Selena was sure there would be a mark later.
