Chapter 26 - 25. Look For The Seer (Part 1)

Look For the Seer...

"I know what you're thinking." Sia said quietly standing beside Teresa who looked her way with evident anxiety shinning brightly making her beautiful blue eyes to dull out in it's presence.

"What do we do now?" Her concern slipped out into her question.

"We look around. Maybe they are still here, like you said before it takes time to pack up. Some of them are still here as you can see. Let's hope they are too." It was Sia who was willing to stay optimistic in this situation for her friend, though in her heart she worried she might have even missed them by a slight delay.

"Ok, you're right." Teresa agreed quickly when Sia attempted to look about.

"Tess, look over there and I'll take a look around here."

"Good idea, we'll cover more ground that way." With that said, Teresa took a step in the random direction where she could see a few people and decided to have a look.

After about a roughly 15 minutes of looking around and not getting any desirable results neither a text of alert from Sia saying she found something or anything, Teresa was about to give up her search and turn around.

She has walked out of the place designated for the fair and was now roaming about empty streets that seemed like a deserted area used only for storage facilities.

That was when her eyes fell upon what looked to be a quite large vehicle. It would be called as an RV if she was anymore familiar in the area of vehicles.; therefore, she opted to call it a big ass van in her head.

None the less, she sprung into action when after observing it with caution from a safe far distance for a few minutes, she saw an oddly familiar looking man exiting the van and going in the direction of the area of the fair.

It was the apprentice!

If the apprentice was here, it would mean the gypsy was here as well.

A new flame of hope took spark in Teresa's heart, invigorating her to throw caution to the air and sprint towards the place she hopes to find some answers to her jumbled misery of morbid questions; such as when is death coming for her, if it's really coming.

For once Teresa finally forgot to be her polite self and forsake the knocking as she busted inside the vehicle thru the same door that Silas had exited out earlier.

Were Sia here to witness Teresa acting unruly for the first time, she would be so proud right now, thought Teresa to herself, as she all but ambushed someone's home in her eyes.

Though adrenaline was to blame on most part for her to boldly busting thru a door she was not willing to cross ever again just last night, Teresa when inside was almost pleasantly surprised to see the inside of this temporary home accommodating the gypsy from yesterday- that scared the hell out of her- was rather usual looking... for an RV.

Nothing like the state of her yurt she had been to. Maybe it was the creeping vibes of her yurt that added more to the misery of what happened to Teresa.

If that is the case maybe she was faking it and Sia was right that it was only the atmosphere getting her to believe the gypsy?

That thought crossed Teresa's mind and quickly became redundant in the very next second as her eyes landed on the lady perching comfortably upon a small sitting arrangement in this recreational vehicle of theirs.

Images of her hollowed out mouth singing a tale of macabre to her and her morbidly pinched eyes invaded Teresa and once again she found herself having goosebumps and a chilling feeling down in her soul.

It can not be lie, not when she felt it deep in her veins as if the words were etched in her bones.

The gypsy was calm as if it was a usual occurrence in her home to have total strangers busting thru her door.

Maybe it was, if she had told many other before too that they are going to die soon.

Isadora looked up from her tea cup and gazed Teresa up and down before raising an eyebrow at her.

It was her who busted into her home while Isadora was trying to have a calming cup of tea after a long morning of packing and screaming at her dim witted apprentice who constantly tried to catch them more and more customers so they could have extra cash, and now she was staring looking as if Isadora was the one invading her private time.
