Chapter 4 - The Mask of Democracy

As the political machinations of Solara continued behind closed doors, a new complication arose—the upcoming election. Solara prided itself on being a democratic nation, where the will of the people was meant to guide the course of the nation. However, the politicians knew that revealing their plans to kill Ken would have dire consequences for their chances in the election.

The people of Solara saw Ken as a hero, a symbol of hope and redemption in a world plagued by conflict. His death, if revealed to be at the hands of their own government, would be met with outrage and condemnation. The politicians knew that such a revelation could cost them dearly at the polls, jeopardizing their hold on power.

And so, they made a calculated decision—to postpone their plan to kill Ken until after the election. They would bide their time, waiting for the right moment to strike, when the people's attention was focused elsewhere and their grip on power was secure.

For Ken, this presented both a reprieve and a challenge. On one hand, he had more time to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy against him, to rally support and expose the corruption at the heart of Solara's government. But on the other hand, he knew that his time was limited, that the politicians would not rest until their plans were carried out.

With the election looming on the horizon, Ken knew that he had to act fast. He had to find a way to turn the tide of public opinion, to show the people of Solara the truth behind the facade of democracy.
