Chapter 21 - Chapter 20

By the time the story was finished in the village, it was already past noon. The villagers quickly dispersed to their respective jobs. Now that it had rained, they rushed to put the seeds in the ground in a race against time. Two more months and it will be winter. If you're lucky, you might be able to harvest before the cold weather hits.

Ji Jiu, who did not have land to farm like the others, also asked to leave and return to his home. Today she wasted a lot of time here. Well, there's nothing to do. Otherwise, she would be very upset.

Returning home, Ji Jiu found something to eat. She sat and thought about how she was going to live her life after this. If she had to stay stuck here for the rest of her life, living in hardship, she probably wouldn't be able to handle it. At first, she thought of having the villagers fry chestnuts to sell. But when she saw that they were still living the same farmer lifestyle, she didn't know how to persuade them. Waiting for them to finish sowing the seeds before she went to talk to the village headman. If anyone was interested, she would take them to pick chestnuts on the mountain.

She has been here for almost a month now. Her body also improved a lot. Her treasure was more than ten red reishi mushrooms. She had to make a good storage box for them first. If an outsider saw her, she could easily die because it was not a mistake for someone to possess jade.

As soon as he remembered Ji Jiu, he immediately closed the house and went up the mountain to find the wood. She pulled the cart up with her. It's good that during the recent drought there were many dead trees. Ji Jiu simply cut them into pieces and carried them back to the house on a cart.

By the time the cutting and moving was finished, it was dusk. She hurriedly collected the tiger leaves and brought them into the house first. Ji Jiu didn't expect it would take this long to find good wood to make her treasure box. She hurriedly cooked food to nourish her body. Take a shower, change clothes and go to bed hard. Tomorrow she must make her treasure box well. Prevent damage that will occur from storage.

This morning, she hurriedly did her morning routine and washed the clothes to dry first. Then she took the tray of tiger leaves and dried them in the sun. Luckily, there was no rain today. If there was no rain tomorrow, this set of tiger leaves should be able to be sold the day after tomorrow.

Ji Jiu took the wood from yesterday out of the cart. She sat down and trimmed the wooden planks to make them all 6 sizes. With limited tools, she was able to cut only 3 pieces at noon. Disc only Ji Jiu rested her little hands and got something to eat first. When her stomach was full, she came to sit and continue cooking until evening. Ji Jiu thought about the hinges and locks of the box. Where would she find things? Ji Jiu didn't dare to ask the people inside. The village was afraid that they would become suspicious. She was the poorest person in the village. She probably couldn't afford such expensive things.

Ji Jiu put the matter aside and hurriedly took the tiger leaves into the house. She finished cooking the remaining rice so that the meat would not spoil first. After eating, toweling off, Ji Jiu hurriedly went to bed. Tomorrow, if there is no rain, she will take the cart up the mountain to collect more tiger leaves. The part that needs to be dried should be dry tomorrow if the sky is good.

The next morning, Ji Jiu was very happy that there was no rain. She hurriedly went about her morning routine and left the leaves to dry, then dragged the cart up the mountain towards her Sap Suea grove. This time, the time was a little shorter than before. Ji Jiu was very happy that her efforts to nourish her body had paid off. She hurriedly collected tiger leaves until the cart was full. This time, she should probably sell more than when she used the shopping basket because her shopping cart was almost three times bigger than the basket. By the time the car was full, it was already late in the afternoon. Ji Jiu hurriedly dragged the cart home first.

When we arrived at Ji Jiu's house, she dragged the cart into the kitchen to protect from the rain that might fall in time. Ji Jiu went out to inspect her tiger leaves. When she saw that they were dry, she took them into the house and put them in a basket, using the leaves to conceal them, waiting to be sold tomorrow.

Her mission for the day was completed so she hurriedly cooked something to eat and then took a shower and washed her hair before resting fully.
