"Yo, Marcus!"
Marcus turned his head when he heard another man's voice. He grinned, excusing himself from the group he was talking to initially.
"Anton, my man!" Marcus, Vincent's best friend, spread his arms wide. "I'm so glad you made it, dude! How are you?"
The two men clasped each other's hands midway, pulling each other, and bumped their shoulders against each other. When they pulled away, Marcus placed a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"I thought you wouldn't come?" he asked, excitement shining in his eyes.
"Well, I also thought I couldn't make it, but well, my previous commitment was canceled." The guest smiled from ear to ear. "So, here I am!"
"Dude, it's been so long since you joined the fun." Marcus chuckled, tapping his friend's shoulder. "Come on, man. The squad is by the pool. They'll be delighted if they see you here."
