"Then, can you please give me an E rank demonic beast core?" Sidius began with a request.
"Why would you want a core?" she asked with furrowed brows.
"You'll see," Sidius said, still smiling.
Reluctantly, Amelia went to her storage room and retrieved an E rank demonic beast core.
Although Sidius didn't not saw in the memories of Den Grimar that he can absorb a demonic beast core, he definitely saw that he can absorb a spirit beast core.
Demonic beast core and spirit beast core are similar in a sense that they have both mana, the only difference is the latter was of a pure form that can directly be absorbed. Meanwhile, Demonic beasts cores was the accumulation of impurities gaining power from negative forces.
Sidius had asked the system earlier if a D rank demonic beast core could make him rank up to F+ rank and it had confirmed that it was possible. He was confused why it is the case but he has no other choice, he will trust the system this time.
Amelia returned and threw the core to him with a smug expression.
"I bet you will only see this on me, so just enjoy the show," he said as he ate the core and sat in a lotus position.

As the D rank demonic beast core made its way into Sidius's body, a tingling sensation spread throughout his entire being. It felt as if a surge of energy was awakening within him, like a dormant volcano on the verge of erupting.
The mana swirled and churned like a vortex, pulling in all directions in his middle dantian, the center of his mana storage. It began to resonate with the power contained in the core.

Sidius could feel his heartbeat quicken, matching the rhythm of the magical currents flowing within him. He was shocked with the overwhelming experience, as if he was tapping into an ancient and untamed force.

Series of notifications popped out after another however Sidius was too focused on absorbing the mana to even notice the series of pop-up notifications from the system.

Amelia who was seeing this was equally shocked as him. She never thought ahe would be seeing an event such as this.
After a while the last notification can be heard.
[100%... Successful.]
As the surge of mana finally subsided, Sidius opened his eyes as well as the status window.

When Sidius saw the new 'Constitution' in his system panel, he was again shocked because he did not see this in the memories of Den.
He also clearly saw that his rank really leveled up.
"How did you do it? You broke through in ease? And using a demonic beast core at that! Not a spirit beast core! How did you not get demonified?" Amelia bombarded Sidius with questions, her curiosity bubbling over like an excited cat.
Sidius was equally shocked and excited as her, but he continued to maintain his playful character.
"Because I'm a Demon," he replied with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
A stunned silence followed, and Amelia's face displayed a mix of shock and disbelief.
"I'm just kidding," Sidius quickly reassured her, not wanting to keep her in suspense. "I have a special physique that can turn anything with mana into my power."
Amelia just forrowed her brows, unconviced by statement made by him.
Sidius noticed this and began to explain further.
"Like Demons have strong physiques and Elves with their high affinity for elements, I am also special so you won't lose out in our deal. In fact, you'll gain a lot," he added confidently while moving his hands to emphasize his point.
"You're not a human, you're a monster..." she unknowingly murmured in a barely audible voice.
"Watch your words, Miss Mourningsnow. Walls have ears," Sidius reminded her as he made his way towards the exit of her office.
Suddenly, he stopped and turned back to face her.
"About our deal, I'll send you the files tomorrow," he said with a knowing smile.
"Wait! I haven't agreed to be your business partner yet!" Amelia protested, her voice tinged with frustration.
"You are now. Welcome to my business Miss Morningsnow, and don't forget about the whereabouts of the elixir of life," Sidius reminded her again before walking away. "See you," he waved, disappearing from her sight.
As he walked down the hallway, a wide grin spread across Sidius's face.
'It's been a wonderful day. I've lowered my reputation in the academy, I've gained a powerful business partner, and unexpectedly I even partially awakened my constitution,' he thought to himself, feeling a sense of excitement and satisfaction.
'The first step of my plan is a super success but... I feel like I forgot something.'
'Ah!' Sidius suddenly remembered something. 'I forgot to to use 'Inspect' on Amelia! Forget it, there will be next time.'
Then, Sidius focused on a more pressing matter. His curiosity was piqued the moment he awakened his constitution. He had been waiting to ask this as soon as he stepped out in Professor Amelia's office.
'System, what is a constitution?' he asked, eager to understand this mysterious aspect.
[Constitutions are gifts that the universe bestows upon chosen people at birth. Those constitutions are extraordinarily powerful since it transcends talent and special abilities.]
'What about those question marks next to my physique?'
[You can not access that information at the moment. Please continue to work hard.]
'You mean that you are not that powerful enough to tell me.' Sidius retorted inside his mind.
[...]
'Ha! I was right,' Sidius teased.
Yet despite the unanswered question, he knew he had to focus on his current situation, especially with his sister's life hanging in the thread.
