Chapter 6 - The Hatred of his Disciple

The first disciple of Du Zhuhui was the strongest among his disciples. He was also the only disciple Du Zhuhui ever passed his previous Cultivation Technique, the Azure Sky Profound Art. Only Nie Weiheng was given this technique to cultivate.

The only reason why Du Zhuhui did so was because this was the only Cultivation Technique he was familiar with back then, and he didn't want his disciple to be led astray by him because he was not familiar with the other Techniques.

The Azure Sky Profound Art lets the user be powerful the purer the Spiritual Qi they absorb. Initially, Du Zhuhui bragged to his first disciple that by Cultivating this technique, he would become unparalleled among his peers. And Nie Weiheng believed this unconditionally.

However, there was something that Du Zhuhui didn't take into consideration. The current Spiritual Qi in the south of the continent was extremely sparse. For Nie Weiheng to become unparalleled, he needed to cultivate the purest.

Everytime that Nie Weiheng participated in the Sect's Sparring session among the Disciples, he prided himself as the strongest. After all, his expectations became higher due to his Master continually feeding him with encouragement.

But, when he was faced with losing one after another, all of his pride started to crumble.

It seemed like his Master deceived him with this Cultivation Technique.

Due to what he was facing, resentment towards his Master started to build up.

Du Zhuhui didn't realize that there was something wrong with the Cultivation Technique— what he had given to his first disciple— until Nie Weiheng broke through the 9th Nascent Realm a few years ago.

For the Azure Sky Profound Art to reach Void Shattering Realm, the user needed to be surrounded by extremely dense and pure qi. The same way Du Zhuhui did in order to reach the Void Shattering Realm.

After reaching a bottleneck, Nie Weiheng truly believed that Du Zhuhui ruined his cultivation by giving him a technique that was near to impossible to cultivate in this Southern region of the continent.

With how thin the spiritual qi was, where would Nie Weiheng find a place with dense qi in order to break through?

From then on, the other disciples also believed that their Master let them cultivate something that couldn't be cultivated after reaching a certain realm.

Leaving behind their Master, they went on their own to seek answers for their cultivation, not believing in their own master anymore.

Recalling the past, Du Zhuhui couldn't help but sigh. After helping Ji Yichen with his training, Du Zhuhui was back in his chair again in order to rest.

Seeing his Master, resting on his chair, Wen Zhexi went out silently. After all, he didn't want to disturb his Master.

Today, Wen Zhexi received a message from his 4th Senior Sister. It seems like she and the 1st senior brother will come back here in a few days.

For now, he didn't want to inform his Master. He was afraid that he would stress him, after all his Master was old and nearing the end of his lifespan.

What Wen Zhexi didn't, was that his Master wasn't actually sleeping. He just closed his eyes in order to think what he should do to his disciples in order to restore their relationship.

He really regretted what he did a few years ago. If only, if only he kept the flaw of Nie Weiheng within himself, maybe they would still be complete right now.

Currently, only 18 disciples maintained a close relationship with him. While others are either following his 1st Disciple to hurt him, or they went to travel around the world in order to increase their strength.

However, he did the right thing. If he just let Nie Weiheng cultivate aimlessly, he may be stuck at his level for many years. Not looking for a solution to his cultivation.

Soon, there was Ji Yichen coming out from his room.

Holding his tablet with a frown, he went to his master in order to show him something he had received in the email.

"Master, it seems like Senior sister..." Ji Yichen looked down at his tablet for a bit in order to read the name correctly. "Yu—Senior Sister Yuan Shuwei."

Hearing the familiar name, Du Zhuhui couldn't help but directly snatch the tablet from Ji Yichen's hands.

[Dear Master,

It's me, Yuan Shuwei. Recently, Senior Brother had been trying to traverse the Alcarel Forbidden Mountains. But due to bad luck, he always failed.

Although Senior brother still couldn't trust you completely, he had changed his mind and wanted to come to you in order to ask for help.

BTW Master, you haven't been sending me letters for the past few years, any updates?]

"Strange... Nie Weiheng definitely sent an Email to me about my lifespan ending, but it seems like Yuan Shuwei didn't know about it..."

Yuan Shuwei was very close to him, so when there was a conflict between him and Nie Weiheng, Du Zhuhui tasked Yuan Shuwei to send updates about the situation of his 1st Disciple.

He was afraid that with the unstable mentality of Nie Weiheng, he might do something stupid just for the sake of cultivation.

Fortunately, although his mind was clouded with rage, he still listens to his Dao Companion.

Closing the tablet, he didn't dwell much on it and gave it back to Ji Yichen.

Seeing that his Master had finished using his tablet, Ji Yichen happily went back to his room.

In the afternoon, Wen Zhexi returned. Though Du Zhuhui was curious about where he went, he didn't bother to ask.

If it was something important, his disciple would have already said it before he went out.

However, it seems like the place where Wen Zhexi came from was unpleasant.

Seeing the troubled face of his disciple, Du Zhuhui couldn't help but to break his morals.

"Where did you go to have such a troubled face?"

Wen Zhexi paused for a few seconds, he was contemplating on whether to say it to his Master or just keep it a secret.

But because he couldn't handle the probing look from his Master, Wen Zhexi took a deep breath.

"Master... It seems like Senior Brother was injured. A serious injury at that."
