"I read somewhere that this helps one to feel better" He said, staring intensely into my eyes, looking unsure for a second before he held the back of my head with a hand and brought his lips closer to touch mine.
My breathing has began to go really bad and unstable and it took a while to realize that it was not like he intended to actually kiss me, his lips had only unintentionally touched mine lightly. He didn't kiss me, so that could not exactly be called a kiss.
Or was it a kiss?
He titled his head a little, holding my head firmly in a upward position so he could draw out the poison of the Moonshadow root I'd inhaled using his powers. I felt something being pushed out from my throat and escaped through my lips. He was practically helping me to exhale the poison in a method known as 'Exhalation healing' in the werewolf clan and if I was not in the bad critical state, I would have found the healing method very sensual and get turned on.
I'm just so stupid that I found most things about Barry seductive.

My cousins stared with dreamy eyes as I went on with how Barry helped to get the Moonshadow root out of my system.
"Oh, you lucky bitch, Barry used the 'exhalation healing' method for you?" Becky asked, looking amazed.
"Yeah" I answered trying so hard not to rotate my head and see the expression on Barry's face "He did"
"Oh, gosh, I wanna be Pixie so bad" Tina gushed while my other cousins began to fan their faces with their hands dramatically, their expressions like I admitted having sex with Barry.
"And where the hell was Don when all these 'healing' was happening?" Pete asked, furrowing his brows, he didn't sound pleased.
"He apparently had to check out his restless dog at the backyard and since he had problems with his werewolf hearing ability at that time, he could not listen to whatever Barry and I talked about from afar. So, he walked in while Barry was still on the exhalation healing method" I explained in response.
"He walked in while Barry was healing you?" Pete asked to confirm to which I nodded to.
"Thank fuck!" He whispered, looking relieved.
Yeah, thank fuck.
"Hm, I wonder what would've happened if Don had not walked in" Tina wondered aloud, her eyes twinkling and her lips curved upward in a naughty smirk.
Yeah, I think about that too sometimes.
I had wondered what would have really happened if Don had not walked in that day and interrupted. Okay this was how it happened;
[Flashback]
After Barry had successfully helped to withdraw the poison hanging around my lungs and saw that I was breathing normally again, he didn't let go of my face. He cleaned the sweat beads on my forehead with his palm in a gentle manner.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly, brushing my hair backwards with his palm.
I was not totally okay, but at least I was not coughing anymore.
With my lips still parted like I needed more air, especially from his mouth, I nodded slowly at Barry. The way he was staring at me right now, I don't think anyone ever stared at me that way. His green eyes now back to his normal green and not the very light green, was staring deep into my eyes like it had the mission to melt my whole insides.
I was aware of the closeness of Barry's lips to mine and just a little push, maybe we would be kissing. I think Barry noticed that my gaze was now fixed on his lips and that drew his attention to my own lips.
"Pixie" He called, his hot, minty breath all over my mouth and his lips barely grazing mine in the process.
He pressed his big thumb lightly on my lips as if he wanted to feel its softness, and right now, we were literally breathing in the same air and close to kissing until.....
"The female elder is gon kill you mercilessly, Bar" Don interrupted and we were immediately aware of our environment and sat upright, trying to gain composure.
"I was just using the exhalation healing method on her" Barry covered up casually like we weren't just about to kiss.
"Obviously" Don remarked sarcastically, shaking his head.
[Back to present]
Now back to present, I couldn't help but glance at Barry sitting beside me and staring into space like he was also thinking of that moment we almost kissed or he's probably thinking of a hotter scene.
With Barry, hot scenes has no end.
"So, how did you feel during the exhalation method and after?" Becky asked Barry.
"Yeah, I think the girls should really to know how the guys feel after that hot healing method" Tina added.
I stared intently at Barry, expecting his reply to the question. I deserve to know how he felt about that moment.
"How I felt?" He asked with a serious tone, tapping his finger on the table "I felt...." He looked like was having troubles expressing how he really felt, then he sighed "I felt some kind of regret" He looked at me before grabbing his glass of wine and sipping.
I frowned confusedly "Regret?"
"Does that mean something happened next?" Pete asked slowly.
It took both Barry and I a while to reply. Did something happen next?
Of course with Barry things does not end just like that. It continues, like an endless loop and it haunts you forever.
So what happened next?
The memory of his hot, sculpted body flashed through my head making me to answer Pete's question subconsciously.
"Yes, something happened"
"No, nothing happened"
Barry and I talked simultaneously. I had replied with 'yes, something happened', while he replied with a 'no nothing happened'
The room went quiet, then my cousins squealed excitedly and playfully.
"Ooohhhhh...." My cousins were all amused but Pete was not feeling the joke. He looked very curious to know what had really happened but he is not pleased.
"Uhm, so tell us what happened next that day, I really love hot stories!" One of my cousins says excitedly.
"Yeah! How did it go?" Freya asked with her squeaky voice.
"Yeah. Was it so hot you got sweats all over your body or so cold you were shivering" Becky teased me and winked while I got red all over, blushing as I interpreted her lewd sentence in my mind.
But honestly, I felt both hot and cold that day.
"But wait, what exactly did you feel regret for then?" Tina asked Barry pursing out her lips.
That is definitely a good question.
"For bringing her along to the tattoo shop only not to look after her like I'm supposed to" Barry answered immediately and looked at me with soft guilty eyes. "The Moonshadow Root almost got her killed and I've never been so scared in my life"
It was funny how the atmosphere shifted from the sexual air to the emotional one.
"If a guy wants to take care of a girl, at least he should be able to take care of himself first" Pete fired at Barry pretending he was just giving a casual advice and just like that there was tension in the air.
Barry sighed, the sound almost inaudible "I'm sorry I can't be perfect like you, uncle, no matter how I tried to be" He brushed back strands of dark hair from the side of his face "I tried my best to give the care I can give" Then he turned his face to my cousins.
"You won't believe how it was so hard for me to not stop thinking about what could've happened if the exhalation method had not worked. I was not even myself...." Barry started the story.
