Chapter 19 - FREEZE

"I want you to cool it down for me," Mira ordered. I looked at Ayaka, but she didn't complain about anything; she was eating her snacks. I took the cup of coffee and blew it gently with my mouth, then I gave it back to her. "It's now too cold; can't you do a simple task, right?"

"Please, if you're doing this just because of what happened, then I'm sorry" I said and bowed my head.

Mira stopped for a while.

"I'm not angry because of that" she informed.

"What?!!" I yelled. "Then why are you angry?"

"I'm angry because..... Wait!" Mira stopped and looked at the sea. "Can you feel that?"

"Yes, what is that?" I said.

"That's a lot of karma" Ayaka said. "They seems to be two, a boy and a girl"

"You can tell that much?" I asked. Someone was approaching the shore, there was tension in the air, everybody was beginning to panic. What is this karma?, it was even stronger than Tomura's.

Suddenly, a strong, cold breeze blew from the sea. "What's with the cold in the middle of summer?" I said, shivering.

I looked at the ocean and saw some girls and a bunch of dudes leaving the shore with the complaint of a cold. A cold. A young lady who is in her early twenties ran up to me.

"Ka.....kakashi, Miss Natski is c....calling for you and Hibiki," she said and left.

Hibiki and I ran to Natski, and she ordered us to stop the people from freezing the water.

"Why can't you do it yourself?" Hibiki asked.

"I'm taking the week off, and I don't work during my breaks. Besides, you haven't been punished for your act, or do you want the girls to punish you themselves?" Natski said.

"No. We'll stop them," we both pleaded. I walked out while Hibiki stayed back.

"Hibiki, please protect Kakashi. I have a feeling that they are still after him," Natski pleaded.

She was worried; first, it was a demon that came to him, but now someone else is coming. There must be something about him—something that they know about but she doesn't. What? What could it be?. Maybe it's because he's one of the very few lightening-style users left.

"Don't worry, mom; I will protect my brother with my life," Hibiki said, smiling before he left.

Hibiki ran up to Kakashi, who was standing by the beach.

"Let's go, brother," Hibiki said, patting Kakashi on the shoulder.

"Right!" Kakashi answered.

Hibiki slowly walks on the water.

"How are you able to do that?" Kakashi asked.

"Don't you know? It's the foundation of all training," he said, beginning to jump and stomping his feet on the water. "It's the same as jumping. Just control your energy with your feet, and you'll be fine."

Kakashi gently walked on the water, step by step, till he reached Hibiki.

"You see. As long as you maintain your focus, you'll be able to walk on water, walls, and a lot of other stuff," Hibiki said. "Now, let's go."

"Right!"

Kakashi and Hibiki ran quickly to the ocean. As they were going, they met two people coming; they were walking above the water. It was a boy and a girl; the boy was wearing a pair of black trousers and a traditional Japanese shirt, he looked around eighteen years old, while the girl was wearing a Hakimi, fifteen years old.

"So, this is the chick that was releasing all that karma" Hibiki said.

"Who are you?" Kakashi asked. "And what do you want?"

"Sorry, if I came here unexpectedly," she says, bowing her head slowly. "I'm Mia, and this is my partner, Kato, and we are here to take you, demon vessel. We've been waiting for you"

"Demon vessel?" Kakashi responded, bewildered by the statement. "What do you mean by that?"

"Why do you need him?" Hibiki asked; he was trying to get information out of them.

"Why we need him is none of your concern. Anyways, why are you wearing your short instead of a trunk?" Mia asked, pointing at Kakashi.

"What?, How did you know" Kakashi asked surprisingly.

"I told you someone will notice it" Hibiki said with a smile.

"That's not why we are here" Kakashi said. "Besides, if you think I'm coming with you without you constraining me, then you should forget it!!"

"That's what we plan to do," Kato said, quickly clapping his hands as he shot a string of blood at them. Hibiki was quick to dodge, and he summoned a snake. The snake quickly wrapped itself around Kakashi and moved him out of the way, while the blood went straight to the cafe. The snake disappeared.

"I know that technique," Mia said. The water around her iced up and made a platform where she sat down. "The five ancient beast summoning techniques The beast you just used was the phantom snake."

"How did you know about it?" Hibiki asked.

"Kato, be careful; you almost killed him. You know your blood pressure can instantly kill him," Mia said, this time referring to Kato.

"I'm sorry," Kato replied.

"Answer me!. How did you know about the Acient beast summoning technique!?" Hibiki asked.

"I guess you already know that only one person can use the technique. That means if the last user dies, the technique just gets passed on to another person. A technique that is passed down to the descendants of the Takamichi clan, I clan that specializes in summoning technique"

"That's not my question," Hibiki said. He is beginning to lose his temper.

"I've seen someone else use the same technique. It was about eleven or twelve years ago," Mia said as she knocked herself gently. So cute. "Yes, it was twelve years ago. He had green eyes and black hair; in fact, I'll say you look just like him.

"What are you trying to say?" Kakashi yelled. "If you have something to say, say it quickly."

It was clear that Mia was trying to make Hibiki angry.

"Twelve years ago, I killed a man who was using the same technique," Mia said, smiling widely. Even though she was pretty, that smile made her look creepy.

"Hibiki, don't listen to her. She's lying; she is trying to piss you off," Kakashi said, trying to calm Hibiki. "She looks like she's about fifteen years old, how can she kill a man at the age of three!?. Think about it!"

"No, Kakashi. It is true; my father is dead," Hibiki said. "My father died twelve years ago. When his body was found, they said his blood was frozen."

"Meaning?" Kakashi asked. Hibiki signed.

"He was frozen to death." Hibiki angrily pointed at Mia. "You killed him, and you'll pay for what you did!!!."
