After lunch, Nate had an appointment with Professor Jodi. He knocked on her office door and waited. After a few moments, he heard her voice call out, "Come in."
As Nate entered the room, he saw Jodi seated behind her desk, shuffling through a stack of paperwork. He approached her desk and took a seat.
It was a few moments before Jodi finally looked up and acknowledged him with a brief glance. "I have a task for you," she began. She sifted through the papers on her desk for a moment longer before handing one to Nate.
Nate immediately recognized the paper as an adventure guild notice. As he read through it, he realized it was an investigation request regarding the recent disappearances he'd heard about at the royal party.
