Chereads / Priest, Pray For Us / Chapter 183 - Towards Spain

Chapter 183 - Towards Spain

"An Archbishop is on his way along with two experienced exorcist priests, who will enter with an elite team from the Light Association and take charge of that problem." A man named Guillermo, who would deal with Anton and his men, was standing at the airport waiting for them to arrive.

It was still night, not even three in the morning, so everything was dark, but there were currently two black vans at the airport waiting to pick up Anton and his men.

When Guillermo saw Anton coming out, followed by two more men, he quickly walked towards them and said, "This way, we have little time, so I'll spare you all the courteous formalities that you would care little about, if I may say so."

Anton nodded, and in a few minutes, they all got into the vans. Anton got into one with the man named Guillermo, and Rafael and Alexander got into the other.

"So, have you managed to isolate the area?"

Guillermo made a somewhat strange expression and said, "There are hundreds of people protesting outside the building; they're all trying to get in, but the police forces are keeping them at bay."

"How many meters from the building?" Anton asked as he read the information that had just come to him.

"At least about twenty..."

Anton looked up and, as if giving a clear order, which he clearly was, he said, "Tell them to move the people a hundred meters away from the building. If they resist, then you know what to do when there's a protest. Use tear gas or some kind of force because if the infection spreads, there will be more victims that we'll have to eliminate."

"That would be a bit..." Guillermo hesitated to forcefully remove the people.

But Anton, who was very agitated from the journey, said, "Let your government do its job properly, and then we, the Light Association, will ensure that this evil doesn't spread throughout the city. Tell me, sir, do you want a hundred dead or millions? Make your choice before we take action."

"I'll make a call..." Guillermo quickly took out his cell phone to order the people to move everyone away as soon as possible.

Through the tablet in his hands, Anton learned that this case was similar to the one he had cleaned up before. Here was this dark entity: a woman who was possessed and spread an infection through a virus that spreads through the blood.

Similar to the infestation that is a supposed form of demonic possession, it can also affect animals, which happened before with the previous possessed person who was killed freely due to a civilian's carelessness.

There wasn't much difference here, but he frowned when he saw the story that the Vatican wanted to hide with this chaos that was related to them.

As it was known, there was a girl named Tristana; she lived in a convent and worked as a cook. One night, while praying in her room, Tristana was raped by a group of priests and was found by a nun in the morning, appearing to be dead.

The nuns, fearing for her soul, tied her to a bed and attempted an exorcism during their vigil.

"Nuns are trying to perform an exorcism." Anton would surely talk to his father to strip the Vatican of authority for the pigs they had in their ranks, but surely Sebastian was already doing that.

Continuing to read the report, Anton learned that Tristana woke up, reacting violently to the priest's religious prayers, killed the nuns screaming loudly, smashed the windows, and impaled them with the glass.

She then killed the assistant priest by hitting him in the head with a crucifix. Horrified, the same nun who found Tristana after the rape managed to calm her down by injecting her with a tranquilizer.

The possessed Tristana was kept sedated and tied to a crucifix until the Vatican priests arrived, one of whom was quite good. The case made headlines, and sometime later, Tristana was reported missing.

"The Vatican lost a dark entity and didn't inform us until now; I wonder how they will face the guilt." Anton said, thinking about how to resolve this chaos.

The evidence revealed that the root of the possession was a particular enzyme, which had now mutated and become an infectious disease that spread through saliva and bodily fluids.

Taking his cell phone, Anton called the light agents who should be outside the building and said, "Prepare tactical teams against infectious diseases; they must wear containment masks and high-caliber weapons to eliminate all the infected."

"Anything else?"

Anton looked at Guillermo and said, "Move the people away if they haven't been moved; one mistake and this infection could spread throughout the city before we have control."

"Will you seek the cure, as the Vatican has said?" Guillermo asked, wanting to know more about this.

Anton, who heard this question, shook his head and said, "I'm not going to risk my 8 men on a suicide mission like that; we'll eliminate all the dark entities, and if we can make a cure from that point, then it will have it."

When Anton checked a little more just to be sure, he nodded, knowing that everything had been reported, so after a few more minutes, they arrived at the area where all the chaos was happening.
