Chapter 32 - Chapter 30: Hidden Gem Warfare II.

As Taski and Darcie find themselves trapped inside the sanctuary, they will search for ways to acquire the Heartlin Stone they've located. Now, over in the Philippines, Sharaletta and her team explored the vast city of Cebu City; the streets were filled with many citizens, tourists, travelers, and more. Sharaletta became frustrated by the many people who walked by them; most showed disrespect and hatred as if they were enemies. "I'm about to lose it with all these rude people, and I'm not about to continue walking down these streets anymore. Imma bout to take off; I'll just find it faster that way," Sharaletta told them. Toronto calmed her and ordered them to continue blending in with the crowd. Sharaletta couldn't handle the loud and irritable voices around her, and the extreme heat only added more stress. Tesakai looked around the city structures and mountains, the vast land seen in the distance caught his attraction, "Some of these building structures remind me of home, I can't figure why it would. It does feel nice, though; Shara just needs to lie back and relax, honestly. He-he." Tesakai thought to himself with humor. As they continued moving down the busy streets, many fast jets high up in the clouds flew by at remarkable speeds. These jets caught Sharaletta's attention, reminding her of her earlier days growing up in Asalikith. "Listen up, Everyone! Our first stone is not too far from here; we must continue moving toward it. We'll be there in no time, and after we grab this stone, we're outta here." Sharaletta announced to them proudly. After this, a large van rushed past them at a fast speed, then another followed up, and many more continued behind. "TESAKI! LOOK OUT!"

Sesakayla shouted as she thrust her fist toward the large van, knocking it upward as it flew over them. The van landed and rolled onto its side, with damages on the front that looked like a giant sphere punctured the front of the vehicle. They all look over at the van and see it begin to smoke up. Then, out of the smoke was a small man breaking out of the damaged van; however, the small man seemed as though his body was morphed and wasn't natural skin. "How'd you like it if someone smashed your vehicle, you nasty woman." The small man hatefully said to her. He then got up and charged forward to attempt to swing at Sharaletta, only to get embarrassed in the public eye. Sharaletta slammed her shield down and created a powerful gust of wind that knocked down the small man, and with her energy blade out to stop his charge. The small man then looked up at her and crouched before her, and all the surrounding citizens stared at the small man curiously and troubled. As they all stared at his embarrassing defeat in front of travelers, the small man shouted, "AWAY FROM ME! It would be best if you outsiders didn't dare even touch me. Do you hear me? AWAY WITH YOU! Do not touch me with your ugly pink shield." This made Sharaletta hear these words; however, she knew her best option was to remain calm. Then suddenly, the small man then created a sonic boom air wave from a massive hand clap, he then jumped up from her grip and escaped from the scene. He rushed away from the crowd, stole a small vehicle, and raced to his comrades; Sharaletta then looked over her shoulder and spotted him from afar off. "Everyone, we need to continue moving. We do not need to get involved with this nonsense going on. Let's resume chasing after the stone."

Toronto commanded them. Far away from the scene, up on a balcony of a tall penthouse, an unknown male figure looked down at Sharaletta and her team, "Try all you want, but ultimately, you'll all fall to the command of the Solar Pyramid." The unknown voice spoke toward them. Back to Sharaletta, they moved on from the incident and continued their search for the Heartlin Stone, "It's only a few more roads going up; this hill is superbly massive. I'll be glad when this is over, and I can't wait to return and resume our first actual assignments." Sharaletta explained. For almost 4 hours, the six drove up to a large lookout on a large hill; Sesakalay and Tesakai chatted with each other as Sharaletta and Toronto discussed scenarios and potential outcomes for their upcoming mission. Aaron sat next to Akaio and stayed to himself, likewise she minded her own, Aaron thought to himself, "This Akaio girl, she does look gorgeous I have to say, I wonder how friendly she is." Suddenly, the same vans rushed past the military vehicles that held Sharaletta and her team. The military cars wavered and were shaken by the fast-moving vans, and the vans smashed through vehicles up ahead of them and caused some drivers to fall off the cliff side. The military vehicle halfway crashes into the side ramp up the hill and rushes through the flames and smoke from the other cars. "Aight, I ain't having this. Nope! I'm going to go and show them how I reck parties like this." Sharaletta shouts out loudly. She then shoots herself out the back of the truck and flies forward at high speed in pursuit of the fast and dangerous drivers. Through thick smoke and flames, she flies out of, high into the air. She takes to and locks onto the vans.

She strikes downward, summons her energy blade in her hand, and slices off the top half of the van; the surprise attack catches the passengers of the van off guard and shocks them. The truck driver panicked and spun out of control due to fear, causing the vehicle to take off, spinning out of control and crashing down on its side. She continued moving forward, but two remaining vehicles were driving past the speed limit; however, they ignited a fuel boost and took off at nitro speed. She then did them a better performance and took off at a faster speed, she then caught up and was in between the two vans; however, the two vehicles attempted to collide into her but failed to do so. The men in the vans pulled out illegal military weapons and began an assault on her. They fired handheld machine guns, and the worst was a tracking rocket launcher. A missile was fired off at her; Sharaletta dodged it quickly but was then tracked down by the rocket. She then moved fast and found no escape from the auto-tracking missile, but it continued to track her down until she was eradicated. Toronto looked up at her, likewise the others, "(I hope she understands what she's done. We didn't come here to crash any parties or cause any fights, hopefully she knows what to do)." Toronto thought to himself. Toronto then took to the skies to pursue Sharaletta and the mysterious personnel driving the vans. He then locked on to the vans as well as Sharaletta and shot off some thorns to the vans to burst off their tires; then suddenly, a passenger in the left van fired off multiple shots toward Toronto to strike him out of the air.

"Hurry it up, would yah! These two irritate me, and I can't focus on the road with them constantly hitting us." The driver of the left van commanded the others along. Sharaletta then sliced off the top part of the van; then suddenly, one of the men aboard the truck pulled out a desert eagle and fired shot after shot. Sharaletta quickly summoned her shield in front of her before the bullets could impale her; Toronto then shot his thorns inside the van and released a gust of gas that put everyone to sleep, neutralizing the firing squad of the bunch. Sharaletta then sliced off the two rear tires, causing the driver to panic off to the side of the road and crash into a speed sign. She then landed down near the driver's door and tore off the door; then, instantly, the driver shot his taser straight into her arm. The shock was set to extreme high and knocked her down, she was knocked cold to the ground. The driver backed up and drove away, leaving our young knight Sharaletta to lie in defeat. Toronto landed down to rescue her, looking down at her made him feel unpleasant seeing her shake and moan from the shock. Then, behind them came Tesakai and the others following up in their military vehicle, "Well, whatever those guys were doing, we'll just have to worry about them later. We tried but failed. We technically failed a side mission everybody, so we should take it upon ourselves to learn from this failure and strengthen ourselves.

Furthermore, we do need to focus more primarily on our actual mission here; we shouldn't be wasting time here," Toronto announced to them. He lifted her from the ground, boarded the military truck, and proceeded toward their mission for the stone. Sharaletta rested as they moved toward the lookout. Hours passed after that event on the road; Sharaletta awoke from her sleep, stretched out, and got up from her bed.

"Toronto, what happened? I feel like I've been asleep for days. I feel slightly shaky and wigged out." Sharaletta asked him. Toronto explained to her about the events of their battle; he discussed her injuries and conditions, reminding her about her requirements to recover. "You'll need to really rest and be more careful out there. It would help if you didn't rush out there like that; you have almost gotten down from guns and missiles. You could've at least waited on us to join you." Toronto exclaimed to her. Sharaletta became defensive and argued with him, "Look, darling, I knew what I was doing. I didn't expect him to pull out a Taser gun. I messed up, so what? He had me there, but I know what to expect next time." The two argued back and forth continuously; Sharaletta couldn't handle the idea of losing and worried more about her failure. Toronto turned his face away from her and responded, "Whatever, I just wanted to protect and help you. I can't do anything to help you if you refuse to listen to me." Sharaletta then felt guilty of her attitude toward him and apologized sincerely to him, "Okay, okay..., I was wrong dear. I should've been more careful; I just wanted to stop them from doing any harm. I need to act more mature for my age and be a real team leader. Please forgive me."

The sun began its course, setting in for the day, and Sharaletta and Toronto made conversation for a while. As the sun slowly moved toward the horizon, stars began appearing, and lights started glowing throughout the city and streets. Sharaletta and her team rested for the night to prep themselves for their first stone; however, further off from them, a male and female figure stood behind a large tree and stared down Shara and her team. "Well, I see you knights need rest to function properly. What a shame there, we members of the Solar Pyramids do not require this. Wouldn't you agree, Mikalah?" The male asked her. Mikalah summoned her sniper and aimed in on Shara; looking deep into her face brought disgust into her heart.

"Lewis, why don't we just take shot already, I see no purpose for waiting. I kill her without ease." She responded to Lewis. Into the night, Lewis and Mikalah spied deeply on Sharaletta and her team, waiting for their time to attack. Mikalah laid back against a bolder in relaxation; she thought to herself about her father, wondering more about what he truly is, "(Father, why do you hide your face from me? I wish to see you for once; your face is blank and empty. All there is to you is your voice, your eyes, and your silhouette of a body. Who am I? Something feels different in me, and I figure it not.)." Her heart was troubled and disturbed, and she felt as though her heart was making a U-turn in her path in life. Lewis laid against the large tree and stared into the stars of the sky, and he then thought to himself, "(I wonder, what have I gotten myself into? I feel as though there is a deeper and darker side of the boss. Like there is something, he refuses to tell us. What is it? I couldn't put my finger on it. I'll have to wait until the future tells me that.)"
