Deep down in the depths of the underwater sanctuary at Riches Beach, Darice's team is locked within the cold and wet coliseum. The team had located their first Heartlin Stone but was blocked from reaching it due to a protective force field around it. Killian examined the shield and felt its incredible power flowing from its source, "Hmm, it feels like it's a frosting kind of energy within it. I could melt it down with my magma if that's the case. Should I, though? I'm certain that Darcie would objectify against my plan, no matter the sort." Killian said softly to himself. As he continued to think about the situation, Mikado got off the floor and floated toward the force field to examine it closely and figure out a solution to their obstacle. "Geez, I'm shivering in my suit here. Who messed with the thermostat here? It's colder than the time I slept without my covers for an entire night. Terrible memories, *sigh*." Mikado asked out of curiosity about the temperature and said to herself. Ariah got down to her knees and felt the intense cooling temperature of the floor, but used this to their advantage and felt the micro plant life that still lived in the sanctuary. She placed her hands on the floor and spread her pollution seeds on the floor to study the force field around the little plant life that remained.
"(Hmm, the little that remains seems to be frozen under the force field nearest the stone. That must mean that the force field is made of some frozen energy that causes anything around to become cold and can freeze anything it touches for too long. Fascinating discovery here.)" She thought to herself as she learned more about the shield. Out of curiosity, Drake walks over to the force field to observe the power; however, shortly, Drake learns about its chilling power. He reached in and touched the shield but immediately shoved his hand away from it out of frost pain. "OUCH! This thing feels worse than fire hydrate ice tch. This is almost unbearable to handle." He expressed out of pain. Ariah senses his pain and shouts out, "TASKI, Quick! Warm his hand. That was a frostbite; it's traveling up his arm." Taski acts fast and warms Drakes's hand to stop the flow of the frostbite moving up his arm; the process then ceases immediately and thaws off him. "Dude, what the heck happened just now? Did I almost have an entire frozen arm?" Drake asked out of curiosity. Killian then walked forward and spoke to them all, "It's obvious to me now that this force field is using a frozen energy source. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. However, we can probably melt away the energy field with heat. Taski, you could help me out if you wish, but I'd stay in your own lane if I were you." Killian proceeded toward the force field raised his hands up, and blasted magma out on the field. The intense heat then began steaming the force field, and the heat was set to maximum from Killian's wrist device. He blasted the force field repeatedly, and the shield began to melt slowly, causing a small hole to be carved. Their victory was assured until the magma fell off the force field, and the hole Killian created was restored.
Killing their chances of getting through the force field all to zero, Killian was then exhausted due to his heat level set to max heat. With doubt in the minds of our heroes, they are dumbfounded at their obstacle and begin to question King David. They all wondered in their minds, "(What was David thinking? He was insane for scattering them over the earth.)" Darcie grew frustrated at her impediment enough that she resorted to puncturing the floor beneath her. An idea then piqued her mind after she thrust her fist down on the ground once, "(That's it, I need just to charge my speed. I'll surpass my limit, here and now.)." She thought miraculously. Taski released his flames off the shield for a cooldown, and his flames couldn't ignite due to the room's temperature. Taski noticed his breath was visible and that his flame was diminishing slowly, due to his low ability energy. Ariah rushed over and replenished him quickly, but she felt his body chilling terribly. "Taski, don't worry. I'm here for you; take some deep breaths... slowly." She said with care and love to him."Everyone, I have an idea, but it'll take me an hour to do. I can grab the stone with my light speed surpassed, but Taski and Killian, I'll need you two to burst open that force field again; however, I'll need you two to burst it open way more extensively." Darcie explained and ordered them. Killian didn't hesitate and agreed with her, anticipating to retrieve the stone quickly. He then walked over to a corner and rested for the moment. Mikado continued her shivering and clung onto Taski's shoulder for warmth. She gave him sweet talk, "My baby, I am freezing down here.
Could you please be a sweetheart and warm me up, darling? You could also build a fire and warm us like that, although I wouldn't mind if you just warmed me. You know what, forget that second option, he-he-he." She playfully encouraged him. Ariah then stepped in, proposed an option for warmth, and offered some vines that she made from her ability: "You could just burn these and build a small fire if you like; I think that would be best for all of us." Ariah considered him. He then burned all the vines she put down for him and formed a small fire near the center of the room, warming them. Killian remained to himself until Darice gave them the order of command. As time passed, Ariah and Mikado rested beside Taski and found comfort in his body. Eventually, Ariah and Mikado fell asleep on his shoulder, except Taski grew uncomfortable with the two sleeping on him. "Tch, you're one lucky man, Taski. I would even say that I'm seriously jealous of you, bro; it must be nice to have two hotties sleeping on your shoulder." Drake mentioned to him that he was exceedingly jealous of him. Taski didn't take the idea of Mikado on him lightly while Ariah rested on him; he felt the tension in him rising tremendously. He then offered his spot to let Drake sit beside him while Mikado rested her head on Drake's shoulder. " Hey, Drake, why don't you sit beside me and let her rest her head on you? I'm sure you wouldn't mind that, would you?" Taski asked him. Drake then felt nervous and turned his emotions around due to fear of what she'd do to him if she saw him. Eventually, he sucked up his fear and stood up against it and went along with his offer, he sat next to Taski and allowed Mikado to sleep on his shoulder.
As 45 minutes had passed, Darice mentioned to them that she had left enough time until her light speed was charged enough. Ariah was drooling on Taski's shoulder, slumbering deeply in her rest. His heart sped up and raced to see her asleep, and he thought to himself, "(How cute of her; she looks like she's having the sleep of her life right now.)" Ariah began slipping off his shoulder but was caught by his hands. This caused her to awake from her deep slumber, and her moaning seemed cute to Taski as he listened to her. "Ugh... what time is it? It feels like I've been asleep for hours now." She groaned continuously and asked them. Mikado was arriving to the real world from her sleep and noticed something was off about the shoulder she rested on, she then looked up and saw the one she felt disturbed by. "Woah, what the...? Drake, what are you doing next to me?" He didn't even faze a bit at her question but was happy to know he could sit next to her in delight.
Afterward, Darcie alarmed the team that her light speed had finished charging up to her desired choice. Taski and Killian then moved into position and fired up their heat force. Mikado prepared a protective shield for everyone behind Taski and Killian. "Ready boys? I'm about to sprint off, make a big enough hole to fit through, and I'll have that stone in a chiffy." Darcie commanded them. With all their might, Taski and Killian fired their attacks full throttle at the shield to make a clear path. The two unleashed their most potent fire and magma beams. Taski commanded fire from his hands like a tornado that was in flames, and Killian fired a beam of pure molten hot magma liquid.
This attack from them increased in power as they continued to push past their limit. Killian began to feel the intense energy of his heat boiling near his arms. This wasn't good for him because his device on his arm was the only way he could control his heat level, any damage to the device would hurt their chance of creating a hole. "TASKI, tch..., if I don't... last, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME! JUST KEEP THE HEAT UP!" Killian shouted to him in pain. Killian was confident in his abilities; however, his heat would burn his body if he kept an attack going for long periods of time. This remains why his body began to fail slowly; his life was hanging on the line; then suddenly, a hole began forming, and it kept expanding larger by the second.
Darcie then noticed the hole in the shield and sprinted off with her light-speed technique. It was as though time was moving at an unthinkably slow speed, and Darice rushed over their fire and magma beam. She slipped through the first and squeezed through the second force field, and thus before her was the first Heartlin Stone within her grasp. She took off her scarf she wore and grabbed the stone, it was told to her by the old man they found in the forest, that no human had ever even held a stone in their hand. Darcie decided to play it safe and take the old man's advice. She felt the phenomenal heat under the scarf, but it was reduced due to the material of her scarf. She then rushed out of the force field and tapped Taski and Killian on their shoulders to indicate to them that she was finished. Taski and Killian then looked behind them and noticed her, she stood very happily behind them as if it took no effort for her.
In victory, she held the stone up high and was relieved of their struggle they fought hard for, Killian grew inquisitive as to why she held it within her scarf and asked her, "Captain, why are you holding the stone in your scarf? It doesn't seem to make sense to me, and it would seem more convenient to hold it with your hand." Darcie assumed that nobody else was aware of her knowledge about the stones; she then explained to them the advice the old man had given her. The stone felt incredibly hot within her scarf, so she rewrapped another piece of cloth on the scarf for better comfort. Then suddenly, the sanctuary then began to rumble and shake, at first seemed like something unusual to them and then the memory dawned on some of them. "What's going on? Is the old man releasing us out of here?" Mikado asked out loud to them. "Maybe he knows that we got the stone and is opening the gates for us," Drake responded to her. Darice then ordered a command to take her path toward the gate; they all rushed through the giant doors that led toward the entrance gate."QUICK, EVERYONE, IT'S JUST RIGHT THROUGH HERE!" Darcie shouted to everyone as giant stones and parts of the structures fell beside them, and the place started filling with water. However, as soon as the door was opened, they could only freeze at what awaited them. They were all shocked by the man himself, Yegor Antakov; furthermore, the small but fearful woman stood by his side, Mandy Oliver.
"Stop, young knights; do not make me proceed further. I only seek that which you went through all the trouble to get for me. Hand over the Heartlin Stone." Yegor demanded them aggressively. Darcie hid the stone behind her back pants and stood firm against the titan himself, "What makes you think I'm afraid of you, Yegor! You think I will give up this stone to someone like you." Darcie argued back powerfully to him. As a warning, Taski summoned his flame sword and said, "Look here, bud; I don't have time to stay here and fight you and Mandy. I've grown quite tired of constantly running into you countless times; surrender now, and we'll save you the stress and the beat down." Yegor grew frustrated at the sound of his voice and could only growl in wrath. Yegor made a strong argument toward our knights, stating how their actions of the past and their actions of the future would be the ultimate downfall of the entire kingdom. "You little Brats don't even understand the extent of the stone's power, and you think your kings and queens will use them for the greater good? How Stupid of You All to believe such a lie by your leaders. Your ancestors used those stones to conquer many lands and kingdoms, and since then, all the knights have been selfish and have made many horrible jokes, lies, and threats about those who were inferior to your kings and queens. You expect me to believe your lies and promises."
Yegor exclaimed before them. Darcie grew irritated by his words, likewise Taski and the rest. Yegor threatened them with either the stone or their lives as his best way of fulfilling his desire; however, his words or anger did not move the royal children. Darcie tossed the stone to Killian, and she assumed that his body could withstand the phenomenal heat of the stone. Killian quickly grabbed the stone and then rushed into the dark room near the entrance, almost as if his visibility was utterly gone. This infuriated both Yegor and Mandy to their limit; then suddenly, Yegor's face became terrifyingly angered, his veins were revealed, his eyes began glowing bright red, and his fangs sharpened in his teeth. "You, kids, have nettled my inner power. Now, I'm going to completely slaughter you, your family, and your entire kingdom. There is no turning back now, it's time to feast, and to kill." He says to them, intending only to kill.
