At Ronald's House,
"Mum, today ...."
Elis began telling his parents.
Ronald signals his brother not to tell them.
But he continues speaking,
"Ronald brought…."
Ronald stands up from the dining tables and clears his throat, to stop his brother from talking, then he said "how about we go get some juice from the fridge" He proposes to Elis
"Okay" Elis said.
"Don't tell mum she's my girlfriend" Ronald whispered to Elis as they left the dining table.
"Why" Elis asked
Because she's not yet my girlfriend, we are just friends at school
Okay, I hear you
Ronald takes out the jar of juice from the fridge, and they both go back to the dining table
He serves the drinks into his parent's glasses.
"What were you saying" His mum asked
Ronald keeps signing him not to say it.
"Well, I wanted to say Ronald bought not brought me an ice cream, as a matter of fact my favorite one." Elis answered.
''Aww, that's so delightful of him'' his mum said
''Anyways, my friend will be having his birthday party at his house tomorrow after school. So, I was hoping you will let me go'' Elis said
''Sure, you can go but Ronald will have to accompany you for safety reasons'' his mum said
''Naa, I will be busy tomorrow after school''
''Doing what? if I may ask. You'll be playing basketball with your to be girlfri…...'' He looks at him sideways
Ronald cuts him and speaks
''Sure I 'll go'' he says reluctantly
Tesa had already stepped out from the bus a was heading to the direction of her house when her neighbor called out her name
''Tesa! Tesa!'' he exclaimed
She turns and greets him.
''Good evening'' she said tiredly
''Evening, how are you?'' He asked without noticing her tired voice.
''Fine. What about you and Casimir''
''We are all fine. I was wondering if you could take Casimir to his friend's birthday party after school tomorrow. I would be at work by then,''
''Sure. What time will the party commence''
''At 5:00pm. I'll send you the location''
''Okay''
''Thank you very much. I'm really grateful''
''See you then and say hi to Casimir for me''
''Sure, I will''
She walks towards the door and knocks. Her mom opens and lets her in''
''Hey, here comes my princess'' her mom said cheerfully
''Hi mum'' she answered as she walks to the chair to take a seat at the dining table
''What's the problem? You look so weary and exhausted'' she asked concerned
'Looks like it's my favorite food, but I need a warm bath to cool myself down first'' Tesa replied
''Let me go warm up your food while you take a bath''
''Sure, umm where is grandmom''
''She in her room. She will be coming out in a jiffy''
''Oh okay.''
She jumps into the shower and smears soap on her soft body as the water fell like droplets of rain. She got out feeling fresh and renewed from a long and busy day. She quickly wore her night gown and goes to the dining table, to see everybody already seated with the food served waiting for it to cool down a bit
She takes a seat by her grandma and quickly gulps a huge spoon into her mouth
'Ouch, it's hot'' she said as she uses her hand to push in air into her mouth
''Here, have some water' 'Her mom gives her a bottle of water
''Thanks mum'' she said
'' Anyways, how was your day?''tesa asked grandma
''Interesting. I watch lot of movies and I had fun with kitty''
''Wow, I see you enjoyed your day''
''Yes, I definitely did. How was your day?''
''It was fun, the coach said the best student in each sport will receive a scholarship, so that's what I'm aiming for
''Oh okay, it's that why you had practice with your friend today'' her mum asked
''Yeah, so he can teach me some move. Tomorrow the coach will be selecting the best players that will stand for the school''
''Let's hope you'll be part f the selected students'' her mom said
''Also, I met Nolan on my way here, he says I should send Casimir to a birthday party tomorrow after school
''Oh okay, but be back home early so you can prepare dinner for yourself and grandma, I'll be attending dinner with one of my friend's, so I may not be home early"
''Sure''
''The food is warm now, let's dig in''
They are lifted up their cutleries and began to eat and in no time, they were done.
Tesa and her mom tidied up the place and washed the dishes whiles grandma went to lay down in her room.
