Chapter 6 - Omake: 1

Hey everyone, here are short stories of Kio's daily life in the throne. If you have any ideas for omakes please leave a comment. Omake made by my partner Another John.

Inside Kio's villa, Kiyohime knocked on the door.

"Anchin-sama it's time for your training~☆"

"Alright Kiyohime, I'm coming." As I left my room, my hair was slightly disheveled, but I was able to adjust it into a more presentable state before my lesson with Quetz. As I walked outside, I wondered where she was.

"Oh, child, come over here," I turned to the somewhat unfamiliar voice. In the direction where the voice had come from was a five-foot-seven woman with long, purple hair and a beautiful white dress with blue accents that flowed in the slight breeze, or at least that's what A.R.C. described her as. "My name is Manannan Mac Lir, or Bazett. Whichever you prefer."

"Ah, you're one of the pseudo-servant, right?" A.R.C. asked with awe.

"Yes, I am. And today I am feeling generous, so I would like to give you a gift. It is a lesson on primordial runes. You may use whatever you wish." A smug smile was plastered on her face as she spoke of the wonders of runes and what they could do to make this boy into a legendary hero.

"Oi, what do you think you're doing?" A curt voice sliced through the air like thin shards of ice. Another tall, purpled-haired woman had appeared, this one in a light violet dress. She had red eyes, too. "My primordial runes are far superior than yours, since I am a true goddess." The self-satisfied tone in her voice wiped the smile from Manannan's face.

"At least I exist in PAN human history unlike your world, in which neither it nor your kingdom even lasted long," Manannan shot back with fury. "Ah, are we talking about runecraft? If we are, then I would love to teach it to you like I did my husband." (Dear God, another woman appeared.) This one had lengthy white hair and porcelain skin. She was accompanied by her husband, Sieg, whom I had met when training with Garlic Gramps about swords. They bickered among themselves, like children on a playground fighting over a toy shovel, in which I was said toy. "Not to rain on anyone's parade. I need to remind you all that I'm blind?"

"…" An awkward silence befell the group of extraordinary entities.

"Why don't you take my husband's glasses?" Brynhild commented, trying to break the tension in the air with an awkward but well-meaning smile.

As I thought about how I should solve this issue, an idea came to mind, which involved something Medea and I had been using. "Actually, I do have a dreamscape where I could learn runecraft, if you all are willing to try?"

"If you are going there, then I'll be with you as well~" Merlin cooed, appearing behind everyone like a creep lurking in the shadows. Everyone turned away from him in disgust and promptly left before he could say another word.

I sighed. "There goes my chance at learning runecraft." As I tried to return home, my shirt was tugged backwards, and I noticed the three Valkyries. Ortlinde, Hild, and Thrúd: the black, pink, and blond hair triplets that always swarmed around Skadi and Brynhild "If you don't mind, we would like to teach you our brand of primordial runes. They are not as magically powerful as our gods and older sister, but they will help you more in close combat." They spoke simultaneously.

"Sure. I'd love to learn from you guys!" I said ecstatically. As we started to walk back to my home to use the dreamscape and learn runecraft, I was suddenly knocked out without warning, kicked in the back toward the training ground by a yellow blur. "Hmph, that's what you get for trying to skip training, Kio." Quetz pouted, obviously angry about the situation.
