Jordan's POV
I had someone outside the door, and by the scent, I could tell who it was. Her toes bopped against the door, creating a shadow into my bedroom that betrayed her presence. I smiled, feeling entertained.
"Come in.'' I cleared my throat, even though I'd spoken through the mind link. It still amused me how much she was suprised by matters of being supernatural. The very possibility of speaking through a mind link dazzles her till date. I still remember the first time I'd done it, even though we were miles away, I could feel her emotions. She was scared and confused. I loved it.
I loved the purge of panic that always filled her mind at the sound of my vooice. Or how she'd look down anytime I looked at her. It wasn't just a thing of respect, it was her shyness. A factor I'd desired in most of my slaves but lacked. Her lack of knowledge in her own species, coupled by her upbringing among human territories, makes her the perfect pet to train.
