' I'm just saying, you won't hear the end of it from mother.' Lucas said, causing me to roll my eyes for the hundredth time today. I knew he was right. I wasn't going to hear the end of it from her.
' I just want her to shut up about it. The girl is average, that's all she is. There is nothing special about her.'
' Is that what you really think? Because over the last few days, I've never seen you more jealous about someone than you were when you found me talking to her.' I looked up at him, reading into his words before I stepped forward.
' So you finally admit that you had not allegedly lost your way when you went to her?' I said and to which he shrugged.
' I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about.'
' And you didn't think to consult me?' anger slated through my blood as I looked at him.
