Laxus went to Porlyosika's house and knocked on the door. "Who the hell is it "she shouted "oh it's you brat come on in "
Laxus came into the house and unlike others in the guild Porlyosika had no problems with kids and lets Laxus come into her home from time to time.
"Grandma " Laxus asked "do i have a new little brother ?"
Porlyosika sighed "yeah you do kid go inside and meet him if you want "
"okay"
Laxus went inside and met his brother "what's his name ?"
"Karna , Karna Vermillion"
"wait why is it not Dreyor "
"i will tell you when you grow up kid , now since you are here from today onwards you are responsible for taking him into the cities to look around alright "
"why do i have to do that " Laxus complained he came hear to meet the baby but he did not have any interest in taking care of one
"because people are annoyingand you are supposed to be his brother" then she took the child put in in Laxus's hands and pushed him out of the house carefully
"anddon't give him anything other than milk from the guild"
Laxus blinked his eyes he couldn't believe what just happened right now , he just met his brother and now he had to take care of him and it seemed like his grandmother will not let him go as well
"hah well no matter then ,hey baby have you seen the magic shop in the cityi am gonna take you there first "

Laxus spend the entire day taking the baby all around town and he was able to find out that the baby understood most things and was able to react as well it also surprised him that the baby never cried not even once during the entire day. At the evening he brought the baby back to the guild to give him back to gramps.
"so Laxus" Makarov asked "did you have fun"
"yeahi did and i want to take him again tomorrow "
"alright then you can take him from your granny's house from every noon till evening ,alright "
"okay gramps " Laxus then left
"Hmm seems like there will be no more problems with the future generations isuppose , they will take care of each other" Makarov said smiling "but you did not give the baby to Laxus for that did you , what are you doing Porlyosika"
Suddenly from the corner of the office Porlyosika came out she said in serious manner "Makarov ,its seems like our son has malicious intentions to them "
"who" he dreaded the answer but still asked
"bothMakarov , Ivan has eyes on Karna as well"
"what do you think he is planning "
"there is a chance he has a dragon lacrima"
"WHAT ,don't tell me he is planningon putting it in a child doesn't he know the chances of that failing is very high and it is even more in the case of children "
"i don't know where we made the mistake in raising him but Ivan has lost his way due to his greed of power Makarov, we need to do something about it as fast as possible"
Makarov closed his eyes and contemplated he made his decision "lets give him one more chance he is still the member of the guild isn't he"
Porlyosika sighed she knew Makarov will
make a decision
like this he is too soft "fine but what will you do if he goes after the kids"
Makarov let out a bit of his magic "then he will have no mercy and i will make sure he never hurts anyone again"
Suddenly Makarov got hit in his head by the lamp "oww , what did you do thatfor ?" he asked while painfully rubbing his head "
"what the hell are you doing " Porlyosika said angrily while taking away the child "giving out your magic magical intend in the presence of a child did you forget my warning to be careful around children "

a minute it was an accident"
"NO MERCY " she said coldly
That day the entire guild members started shivering again listening to the wails of Makarov making promises to themselves to never make the same mistake of forgetting Porlyosika's warning ever again "
2 years later year 768
Karna being reincarnated was able to adapt to his body very quickly within 6 months he was able to walk and talk to others . This surprised a lot of people but Makarov ,Porlyosika and Laxus knew that he was smart and this was expected of him . Laxus too became closer to him and took care of him most of the time
Karna was only 2 years old by now but he surprised people when he showed his magic . He was only able to materialize a golden bow and a sharp arrow with his current magic power but he still was able to surprise people . He had completed the first quest by the system and was waiting for the second quest to appear .
Laxus decided to go for a basic quest of collecting herbs with Karna one day
"alright children " Makarov said "this is an easy quest but make sure to be careful about it donot go deep into the forest and only go to the edges while collecting herbs got it "
" "Yes Gramps"" both of them said at the same time
"Laxus i know you went for quests like this before but make sure to be careful because you have Karna with you today "
"alright gramps i will make sure to take care of him "Laxus said and began to rush out of the guild with Karna"
Karna POV
"hey Laxus are we there yet "
"don't worry " Laxus said excitedly "we will reach there in a few minutesI'm going to show you how to do it don't worry"
Suddenly there was darkness all around Laxus and Karna both stopped and were shocked at the same time
"Well looks like waiting for 2 years are showing its fruits i guess" a voice came from the shadows
Laxus's eyes went wide "father what are you doing ?"
