Laxus has been screaming for hours, his father had strapped him on a bed and was currently cutting his chest slowly with a surgery blade.
"Yes, that's it Laxus" Ivan kept on repeating with a hungry look in his eyes.
"Survive and become my pawn against Makarov, hahahahahaaa"
After a few minutes he stopped as he saw that he completed what he had intended.
"Very good Laxus, you managed to survive till now, now all it remains is to put this Lacrima on your chest and activate it, make sure to survive and if not don't worry the brat will be next " Ivan spoke with a malicious smile
Then Ivan took a hexagonal shaped crystal filled with lightning and put it near Laxus's heart.
" Well now Laxus if you can hold on for a few more moments, you will survive if not then goodbye HAHAHA.." Evan laughed out loud again as if treating what was happening in front of him as some sort of game.
Laxus had enough of everything. He was just a seven-year-old kid, even if he was stronger than the average kid, this much pain was even hard for adults and ever since Ivan put that lacrima inside him the pain had just doubled and was increasing drastically without any sign of stopping.
He wanted to give up, but he knew he could not because if he gave up it will be his brother who has to suffer this torture in his place and no matter what happens he will not let that happen. He will protect his brother.
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."
Laxus kept on screaming and suddenly everything he saw went white and suddenly in front of him he saw a giant dragon with thunder all around.
"Hmm" the dragon spoke slowly in a deep and wise voice " When I saw the humans making a lacrima out of my body I thought of ignoring it , but it seems like it is a child huh , your memories show me you want to survive to save your brother from pain seems like there are some good seedlings in humans after all" he spoke as if stating something that was not supposed to happen
"Fine then, use a part of my power for now. Since after this incident, I don't think you will be the same as you are today. But in time, if one day you regain yourself, I will give you my full power, THEN THE WORLD SHALL AGAIN KNOW THE POWER OF THE THUNDER DRAGON KING!!! " bellowed the dragon increasing the lightning around him by so much that it seemed to cover every inch of space without fail.
Suddenly Laxus returned to the world .
He saw that all of his wounds have healed and Ivan was celebrating
"hahaha Laxus " he shouted crazily " you have not disappointed me at all, I will have use for you after all "
"then let Karna go you bastard, you have me for your use don't you" Laxus growled , his demeanour had completely changed after the Lacrima transition and his power should have increased but the healing had reduced his current reserves because of which he was not able to break out.
"Haha , what made you think I will let him go " mocked Ivan "My aim from the beginning was him my dear son, I was planning on putting that Lacrima in you when you had gotten a bit more older to handle it,
But his case is different from you by a large difference" Said Evan with a greed filled expression
"What do you mean " growled Laxus "Just let him go you bastard , he's a child "
"Yes, yes he is a child , but a child with the purest form of magic seen till today in maybe all of Fiore with the second name of the first master who is said to have died with no next of kin"
Ivan had a faraway look in his eyes "Don't you want to know Laxus , the secrets of fairy tail and become the strongest wizard that can rule the world"
"I don't " Laxus begged "just let him go "
"Huh" Ivan scoffed "Such a disappointment, sometimes I wonder if you really are my child, I should change your memories after this to hate that Makarov. But for now, let's move on to my next test subject"
Karna POV
Karna can hear Laxus's screams, but he knew he can't interfere with this. Cause if he did, Laxus will never become a Thunder dragon slayer, and it will cause more troubles for Laxus in the future. He knew that Laxus was supposed to get a thunder dragon slayer lacrima but he also knew it was in a later time.
"So, the butterfly effects have begun huh ,good thing I planned for this before" Karna muttered to himself
The first thing that Karna did after getting his magic was to create a way to communicate and send signals if he is in danger, that too in a discreet manner.
Suddenly the screaming stopped and he can hear them talking to each other , good he send the signal , he knew that gramps would reach in time .
Suddenly the door of the room in which he kept was opened and a paper puppet began to push the bed in which he was tied to into the room
"Look Laxus the man of the hour has arrived" Ivan said while clapping in a mocking manner "But you see for his case I don't need him alive , I just need his magic and that earrings "
He took a scalpel that began to glow with a dark colour.
" For that I just need to cut his core out " Ivan said while smiling darkly
"Wait no , don't do it " Laxus kept on shouting but Ivan did not stop ,he brought the scalpel near my chest
Suddenly I felt it , my earrings started to heat up and a voice said in my head ,
[Sun Armor activated]
An explosion made of shockwaves suddenly spread out in all directions.
Evan was knocked back into the wall with enough force to break a few of his bones. Laxus was pushed back and did not get harmed because of it, but the stress of all that had happened made him faint.
The Armour had actually completed its assimilation long ago, but the system had told that the first activation should be done later as it might be useful in case I ever fall in danger, and looks like it did help a lot.
Suddenly I heard the sound of wall breaking and I blanked out .
Makarov POV
Breaking the wall in I came inside and I saw something astonishing , Karna was shining while some kind of golden Armor with the symbol of the sun covered the upper half of his body and his earrings looked as if it was on fire but there were no burns on his body.
Just as Makarov was going to make sense of it, the armour and the light entirely disappeared and the earrings also lost their glow.
When Karna awakened his archery magic, he had thought that that was it but it seems like the archery was only a part of it , should look into that later.
He looked around and found that Ivan had fainted at a corner with damages and some bleeding, he then saw Laxus with blood all around him, .
"Hey Laxus wake up " He slowly shook him but there was no response , dreading the worse he scanned him with magic
"Oh my god!" there is a lacrima inside him and now that he looked around there is a lot of fresh blood in the tools kept around .
"Ivan " his anger peaked
he saw Ivan groggily stand up
"what happe-
He did not even let him finish , in his rage Makarov punched with his full power with the intend to kill.
'He hurt my grandchildren and there will be no more mercy for him anymore.' This was the only thing going on his head at the moment
