Shin sat down at a table near a railing at the back that overlooked a beautiful landscape with trees and the city below.
Since that floor of the college was above the first floor, he could see the main avenue.
"Right, what do you want to know first?" Shin asked, eating his pastry quietly while waiting for Jing's answer.
He began to think of a question worth asking so that Shin would answer clearly, and he ended up thinking about what he was always pondering.
"About the incident in the alley, tell me a bit." Jing replies, eating his pastry too.
Shin sighs a little and immediately takes the last bite of his fish cakes.
"I was just trying to save a girl, I don't think the open news had the necessary images to show a more impressive story, because when that incident happened... there wasn't a helicopter." Shin explains the moments he was in the alley in Kyoto in the middle of the incident.
Shin knew that there was no vehicle nearby that would be recording or marking moments of the disaster that involved three individuals in an alley fighting each other.
What was happening was that people from nearby houses were shouting and complaining about the noise.
Because the alley was in a more enclosed area that was five minutes away from my house... there was no house in front of it, just a big wall where I was hit in the back.
Shin remembers when he was thrown against that wall and even the bricks that made it up shattered dramatically.
It was a powerful impact, but it was also incredible luck, as I supposedly survived that blow thanks to a girl who was there.
She was the one who increased my physical defense attributes for a moment so that I survived and was treated in a nearby hospital afterward.
I was never going to defeat that man who was causing all that commotion, as the news article on the internet said.
But I also served as a great delay for the Girl to awaken an enormous power to the point of attracting him to herself and then defeating him in a psychopathic way.
"Psychopath? What did she do to that so-called villain?" asks Jing, quickly getting up from his desk and looking startled as he listens to the whole story.
Shin remains silent for a moment and thinks about what to say so as not to give Mooni a bad impression because in the future he wants to make people not hate her.
"She had her reasons, I'm not saying she's a psychopathic individual... in the end, it's the insane madness that consumed her after that disastrous moment." Shin says calmly as he joins his two hands and interlaces the fingers of his right hand with his left.
She was looking for a host to make her feel good, someone she could trust with half of her body's genes, her sacred blood from a species that even you know about because I study it... and above all, someone who would take care of her and venture out in search of a true purpose for what we would have together.
At the moment, Shin was explaining all of this as if he were shrunk into a sphere of energy, clinging to that portion of power that Mooni had given him and was learning more about.
His eyes in that imagination were closed as he stood in an embryo position, meaning that he had a lot to learn about how to master that power.
"She's not a bad girl, I can tell you that… and she's no ordinary human, she's from the Vinxurian race." Shin said, looking intently into Jing's eyes with a serious tone so that it would stay on his mind.
Listening to this, Jing theorized about what this girl might be able to do in Shin's life.
"Here's the theory: it's nice that you did all that… but you mustn't forget that even if you do a good deed in saving someone you don't know since you've never been that kind since you were a child... they can also use your kindness against you because your mind will be so focused on what happened that you won't think about anything afterward." Jing explains a theory that could occur to him after Shin saves that girl.
He was theorizing that even if she does good deeds, it's not these good deeds that will change her perspective on the world... implying that, deep down, she might be a psychopath who could silently kill Shin for meddling where she shouldn't be adding her stubbornness and her thought that she wouldn't know how to save herself from that.
"I'm telling you, you can be sure that your theory is completely wrong, Jing." Shin replied, getting up from the table with a determined expression.
"She didn't have enough energy left to fight that monster, she urgently needed to at least recover some of her energy to fight and finish that son of a bitch... because even Vinxurians have their limits, both bodily and mental." Shin explains little facts about the Vinxurian ecosystem.
His best friend suddenly grits his teeth and sits up quickly.
"I was the reason she was saved... I distract her, her energy recovers." Shin continues, making his final explanations and remembering when he was in that place.
He knew that by distracting all that, he would perform a fake ritual so that in the end he could perform the real ritual for someone he could trust... and that person would be him.
Jing is speechless at this and looks down at the table.
Shin goes over to him and hugs him.
"Your theories are the best, you can be sure I'll use it for someone I'll meet one day, and always be careful." Said Shin, smiling at his best friend, giving full credit to his words.
