From twenty-two hours, it took an hour to reach Sapporo's main station.
The subway windows opened, and you could see the landscape of metropolitan Sapporo.
Everyone started to get off the subway and Shin was on his way to the university.
"It's kind of expensive, but then, isn't life ordinary?" Shin whispered to himself as he walked to the university in the middle of the city.
The surrounding area was busy and interesting, there were many buildings with shops and businesses of different kinds.
In addition, the surrounding ecosystem was surrounded by sakura trees, which had been planted in many corners of the city.
There were sakura trees, small pine trees and some ordinary dark green trees.
Halfway there, he saw a stall selling lamen and decided to buy a small plate, quickly paying for it with his cell phone by swiping upwards on the screen.
In this way, the virtual money was thrown onto the panel on the wall, with the vendor's balance censored until the end of the day.
After a few minutes, he picked up his espresso and started eating on the way.
Continuing his walk along a small sidewalk where the atmosphere was a little quieter without being close to the city, he arrived near some railings.
The large university gate was open and students were entering with their access cards.
Immediately, Shin placed his card on top of the turnstile mirror and activated his entry to Saturon University.
It was a friendly space with a few people sitting in various corners around a beautiful green lawn where they could relax in the shade of the trees.
It felt like being in an American movie with promising young people singing.
The only difference was that this university was home to the best of the best students in Japan.
Each with their own individuality, with skills that would be surreal in human terms, only better in whatever area they're going to pursue in life.
And in rare cases, certain students also study and can possess superhuman attributes that will one day make them the country's protectors against future threats.
Well, that's what the country expects students to be… unless things change over time.
Inside the university, it was completely different from the outside we saw.
Everything around was high-tech, there were glowing panels around some walls replacing old frames and faded photos.
Panels of photos of former principals, students who had won some of the athletic championships that took place in the space and, above all, the students with the best grades in the entire university.
As Shin walked forward, a few steps away there was a replica of the Atlas statue holding up the world, also symbolizing that the students of this university must carry their own world for the sake of the good.
And above that statue, there was a large blue panel that floated in the air and showed a scoreboard and the names of the university's most intelligent students.
Shin Nanoa was in twelfth place as one of the most intelligent students at the university, with his studies on anatomy and stories about the Vinxurians being his highlights.
Since this was one of the least sought-after studies at the university, Shin ended up being the standout among all the other students below him who followed the same course of study.
Shin crosses a path where there are robots around some small stores at the university that serve the students as loyal customers when they need something.
For printing, utilities, internships and much more.
When he reached the stairs, Shin began to climb calmly, but something touched his right hand.
It was a red-haired boy who touched his hand, and he recognized him on the spot.
"Good morning, Shin! How are you? You haven't texted for a while." He greeted Jing with a smile and slapped his hand on his own clothes.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't checking my inbox… did you want to talk to me?" Shin asked, scratching his head, waiting for Jing's reply.
Jing started to think for a few minutes about asking him a question, but his mind was only thinking about the FPS game he needed to decide what to do in a future athletics match.
"It was a bit hard to remember, but I just wanted to know if you were aware of the news that happened yesterday." Jing asked, fiddling with his cell phone, looking for the news that had been circulating on the internet.
Jing ended up putting the phone in Shin's hand, and he started to look at the news-sheet he was referring to.
The news item was about an incident that had taken place in a supposed alley and had led to the death of an accomplice there.
Shin remained silent and handed the cell phone into Jing's hands.
"I'll tell you about it later, I need to go to the bathroom." Shin said, and he left Jing's side and quickly went up the stairs.
Jing, confused by this, accepts without saying anything and keeps his hand on his chin.
Shin appeared in the bathroom, rubbing his wet hand over his face to avoid remembering it.
That repeated memory made him a little anxious and ended up bothering him.
He takes a deep breath and begins to look at himself in the mirror, his eyes attentive to his own reflection.
He stood there watching his face for a while and then quickly went to the toilet and began to take off his pants to urinate.
As he began to urinate, he felt something against both his shoulders that had an icy touch.
This automatically sent a shiver through his body hair.
