Ryan entered the hall and was surprised not to see Iris behind him.
"I guess she's made her decision." He muttered to himself clenching the locker in his hand, he looked up straight as he walked down the aisle to the stage.
"Let's welcome our crown prince." The announcer shouted as Ryan waved his hand in the air.
"Gooday people of Euphoria, I your crown prince is delighted to tall you that the kingdom is going to have a future queen soon." He stayed. Everyone whispering and murmuring amongst one another.
"I have chosen a bride." He continued. "And she is no one other than the princess of Utopia (princess Iris)."
"What's happening to my son." The queen wailed, shaking her head.
"It's okay I'll make everything clear now." The king said rising to his feet as he headed for the stage.
"Ryan what's wrong with you, the princess of Utopia is dead." The king yelled.
"No she's not." Ryan defended.
"What proof do you have that she's still alive." The king argued.
"Here's the proof." Ryan said as he revealed a shiny golden locket.
"So what should we do with the locket, it's not a solid proof." He replied.
"Oh really?" Ryan opened the locket and low and behold, it revealed a picture of baby Iris.
"How did you get this?" The king asked as he took the locket from his hand, shocked to see the picture.
"It doesn't matter." He said, snatching the locket from his hand. "I'm going to get married to Iris and no one else."
"The party's over can everyone leave."
SELANE'S HOUSE-
"Iris, come downstairs for dinner." Madam Selane yelled placing the be tray of food on the table.
"Iris come downstairs or don't you want to eat." Madam Selane yelled but still didn't get any response. She headed up to stairs and knocked on the door but still no response. She barged into the room but did not see Iris.
"Iris, where are you?" She yelled checking the bathroom but she still couldn't find her until something caught her eye at the balcony.
"Shit! This girl, she must have snuck out of the palace." She grumbled holding one of Iris scarves which was tied against the railing.
"Well, if she went to the palace in the middle of the night? Prince Ryan and Iris? Oh my gosh! This girl seemed smarter than I thought." Madam Selane smiled closing the door leading to the balcony.
