PRINCE RYAN'S LIVING ROOM:
"Please have a seat he'll be here shortly." The guard said and left. It wasn't up to a minute when prince Ryan arrived and behind were maids who carried trays of snacks and tea. Ryan sat down opposite Iris as the maids served the tea and left.
"I know what you're here for." Ryan spoke. "The locket right."
"Yes I'm here for the locket please give it back." She frowned.
"Okay but you'll have to do something for me." He stated, with folded legs.
"What do you want that I have,I have nothing I'm just a poor girl who sings in a bar." She replied.
"No you're not, you're a princess...princess Iris of Utopia." He declared.
"I know but that's all on the past, I don't care about who I am anymore." She replied in a meek voice.
"I'll give you the locket." He said swinging it in the air. "But I'll give it back only if you do as I say."
"What do you want?" She asked.
"Be my wife." He replied bluntly.
"Are you kidding me?" She laughed, believing he just told a joke.
"I'm not joking, I told you to be my wife." He repeated again, this time loud enough for her to hear.
"You're joking right?" She asked again.
"I'm not besides the papers are here with me now." He replied, placing the papers on the table.
"Are you serious? How can I sell my life to someone I don't know for a locket." She yelled.
"You're not selling yourself, it's a contract marriage and we are only going to be together for 6 months and you're free."
"What do you take me for?" She asked, standing up to her feet in anger.
"I'm not forcing you, it's your choice." Ryan replied as he picked one of the biscuits on the table and munched on it.
"You're heartless, you evil man." She screamed at him.
"Hope you know whom you're cursing, I'm the crown prince." He warned. "Many girls would be glad to have this kind of opportunity, why won't you?" He asked picking one of the the teapots as he poured himself a cup of tea.
"You're drinking tea, in this kind of situation."
"I'm not the one with the missing locket." He reminded.
"The papers are here, if you're ready place your thumbprint or signature it's your choice." He stated, sipping his tea casually.
"Prince Ryan why are you doing all this? My life will be ruined?" She cried.
"It won't, it's just six months and we'll go our separate ways." He said handing her the pen.
"Fine just saw six months, I'll sign the papers." She wiped her tears and collected the pen, placing her signatures on each and every paper on the table.
"Nice doing business with you." He replied.
"Now have some tea and snacks, I'll make arrangement for you to go home, come on have the tea." He stated placing a cup of warm tea in her hands as she reluctantly had a sip.
"You should get used to this things...my queen."
