Eve stood outside of Isabel's room. She did not know for how long she has been standing there but all she knows is that, she couldn't summon the courage to go in and talk to her. She heard the news about her marriage from Mina. It was devastating to hear such a thing. How could the King think of marrying off his daughter to someone who has three wives already? Yet, there was nothing she could do to help even though she wished there was at least one thing she could. This was the life of royalty, and she doesn't want to get involved in any of it.
She heard footsteps slowly approaching and she turned her head to the side to see Maidservant Ann who stopped and looked at her. After about two seconds, she turned her feet and started walking back from where she came. Eve understood and she left the place to go meet her where she was.
