"What are you and the tutor?"
Eve who was busy combing Isabel's hair suddenly stopped and she looked at her through the mirror.
"I don't understand what you mean," Eve said, a little confused by her question.
"I mean, are you and the tutor together? In a relationship?"
"No," Eve said immediately. "Why would her highness ask me that?"
Isabel noticed how she stopped calling her princess anymore and she guessed it must be because she was soon to get married but she didn't question her on it.
"I just thought you and the tutor got along. He's friendly and I think he cares, but I must be mistaken. So, if you and the tutor are not together, what are you then? Is he just a teacher and you, his student?"
Eve has not thought about that. What was the relationship between her and the tutor? She would have said they were just friends, bit it didn't seem that way.
