Chapter 18 - Chapter Eighteen : They are Married.

~Dave Pov~

"Sure." I said to her, the smile refusing to leave my face. I took the device from her gratefully, the screws in my head clicking.

"Huh, what's wrong ?" She asked upon seeing me staring at the picture with a frown on my face. Right there was the woman, his secretary kissing the principal with a tight hug. Something was wrong with this image, my guts told me. So I looked at it again and stared too deeply.

"Hey!" I heard Katherina calling out to me, but I ignored her. I was close to seeing it.

Another Eureka moment!

It was the jewellery. I laughed, immediately sending the photo to my phone, before giving her the device.

"And what's it ?" She asked me curiously.

"It's the jewellery, the rings, they are the same. They are married."

She paused for a moment, her eyes scrutinising the pictures before suddenly exclaiming in suprise.

"No fucking way."

"So it wasn't an affair then..."

"...since they are married, but its against our school rules. " I completed her sentence.

"School rules ?"

"Yeah. No family members can work in the same organisation, unless if your father is the owner of the company ."

"You're not serious are you ?"

"That's why she disguised herself as a smooth skinned head woman, while she had that beauty of hair on her head. "

"You got a fair point golden haired boy." Katherina commented whole nodding her head thoughtfully.

"The name is Dave, and it's nice to meet you." My hand outstretched for a handshake, her grip was firm.

"So what do you plan on doing ?"

I chuckled before emptying my remaining drink down my throat and stared at her lovely face.

"Oh I have got plans, big plans. " my smile totally sinister and reeked of evil.

"I wish I met you in my school days."

I stared deeply in her eyes, her comment ringing in my head as she returned my stare intently, a small smile dancing on her lips.

"You're trouble." I chuckled, dropping some cash notes for both our drinks and a little tip. Money will always come, so act like a gentleman.

"See you around Katherina " I said to her while walking out of the bar.

"And I thought you liked trouble!"

I heard her comments, my laughter her reply.

Of course I liked trobule, only those i could comfortably walk out from, and in bed.

Getting home and Adianne was fast asleep.

"She couldn't keep her eyes open to wait for our discussion."

Our discussion? Did something happen ?

"Hope no problem."

I asked Pearl as I settled down into my seat, handing out the three bottles of soda, I had earlier bought on my way home.

"It's about school, I want her to go to school"

I opened the bottled drink, the fizzing sound satisfying to hear as Pearl told me her concerns. I took a huge gulp, allowing the sweet liquid to wash over me and the words I had just heard as I wondered if this was how parents were like. Are you now her mother ?

Up late at night, with their kids tucked in bed and themselves, talking and planning on what to do for the benefits of their family.

Damn it must be tough.

"Dave, you haven't said anything?"

Raising my index finger up like Archer Sterling as I gulped down my drink. I dropped the empty bottle on the floor, ensuring it was standing straight so it doesn't look like I was littering the floor. I stared at Pearl with a wide smile.

"It's taken care of Pearl."

"What do you mean it's taken care of ?"

"As a matter of fact, she can follow us to school tomorrow."

"Huh?" She looked at me like I was going bonkers as I slowly stood up and approached her. Both hands on her shoulders, lifting her up, to her feet.

"You sure that wasn't alcohol you were guzzling earlier ?" I smiled at her squeezed face, "Do you want to dance?"

With a hand on her waist and another interlocked with her dainty fingers, I took a step to the right, her body moving with mine.

"Dave, are you drunk ?" She asked me again, the smile not leaving my face as suddenly she tiptoed towards my mouth to smell my breathe. It was clean.

"I don't smell any..." I quickly stole a kiss from her as my lips crushed against her soft plump ones, her flesh tasted sweet to my buds. Her eyes wide opened as she tried to disengaged my fingers from hers to give me what I presumed was a dirty slap. You know the kind of slap that stings .

"Shshh Baby" I cooed at her.

"You don't kiss a girl just like that...especially when you haven't asked her out."

I chuckled as I twirled her around, my steps moving backwards to a rhythm only I could hear and suddenly pulled her towards me gracefully, as she fell into my arms. Her body pressed against mine.

"I don't need to ask you out, cause you have always been mine...the moment I saw you in the church, my eyes laid on you, my soul claimed you." I kissed her this time again, no resistance from her, as our tongues intertwined, dancing briefly for some seconds before detaching. We both stared at each other, the passion burning in our eyes my head lowered to her ears, my voice whispering sweet sultry words that I never knew of, while tickling her hearing organ with hot breathes.

Suddenly, the dance ended, her gaze one of confusion, desire and lust.

I walked her to the bed where Adianne laid and gently tucked her in like she was a little princess.

"Goodnight my Pearl."

My look was that of longing and love as she looked at me with admiration and with a little smile on her face, she kissed me on the cheek.

Back on the couch, alone and awake at this ungodly hour. It's been more than two hours since Pearl hit the sheets, and I have been awake thinking. Anytime I remembered how the evening went, I ended up laughing. From Katherina to Pearl, especially Pearl. Pearl thought I was drunk earlier on and she was right. The drink I had ordered for I and Katherina was alcohol, and only when I had gulped it the first time did I realized that the frizzle drink wasn't soda or something light.

Realising my mistake didn't mean I had to own up to it , so I just acted like I had ordered for an alcohol and decided to gulp it down. It was my money, ain't no way I'm leaving my drink half empty.

I didn't want Katherina to think I wasn't man enough to hold my alcohol, so when it was getting to me quickly, I used laughters and quickly ran away. If she knew I easily got drunk, she would definitely teased me about this night anytime we met. Popping one of the pills, that Josh had earlier shoved in my mouth on our way to the principal office helped clear my breathe. I still had like two left or so, as I couldn't be more thankful for that barbarian. I didn't want to appear drunk in front of Pearl, I didn't want to end up triggering something for her.

And the kissing, and dancing, all the actions of a drunkard. Heck I wasn't that romantic to be able to spin a girl on her toes like that and whisper melodic sweet words to her. That wasn't me , I mean look at my charisma, I was even owing that stats some points. Anyways it all turned out fine.

"It all turned out fine." Were my last words before I quickly slipped away.
