Aaron escaped the area with a single Thousand Step and ended up passing above the wall and tge well. Still, he ended up being seen by one of the guards, even though he soon used Thousand Step again. Shouts began to echo in the area, but he ignored them all and ran as fast as his feet could allow him.
In the end, Aaron ran with all his might in the darkness of the city, but soon he heard the sound of bells ringing. It seemed that he had been noticed… Aaron clicked his tongue, but he was planning for that. It was just a minor nuisance and he could turn that into an opportunity as well.
After reaching the wall, he didn't have to be stealthy about it. Moreover, some guards were leaving the walls to check the center of the city… it seemed that they knew where Aaron had been. That helped him jump over the wall without being stopped. However, after crossing a few hundred meters, the gate was opened.
"They never learn…" Aaron thought and then sighed.
