Aaron felt like sighing, but instead of that, he grabbed his bow and then quickly aimed at the man leading the group. Even amidst the darkness of the night, the enemy saw Aaron one hundred meters away. Still, he didn't think that Aaron would hit from that distance… he was wrong.
The arrow flew in a straight line and passed a couple of centimeters from the head of the horse before piercing the left eye of the rider… who slowly fell to the side and eventually from his horse. The pursuers opened their eyes widely at that crazy display of skill.

"It paid off, increasing my Dexterity this time alongside perception. An archer build works surprisingly well with the necromancer class," Aaron thought while nocking the second arrow.
Although the enemies had heavy armor with them, they didn't expect that Aaron would be able to hit them from afar. Aside from their armor, they only had long spears to deal with him… so they only hid themselves behind the horses when the next arrow was fired.
Aaron didn't hesitate in hitting the head of a horse, and before the creature could even fall, he turned it into a skeleton.
"... Sorry about that," Aaron muttered under his breath after a long sigh.
The riders tried to reach Aaron as quickly as possible, but they were shocked when the horse suddenly exploded near them. The skeleton tried to chase them, and soon, they found another behind them. Unfortunately, they were a bit slower than the horses.
Aaron was able to take down another horse with another arrow, then he turned around and tried to escape. The riders clicked their tongue, but they knew that they would soon catch Aaron. However, he disappeared as soon as he moved toward the back of the tree…
The riders looked around as if some crazy wizardry had been used. They couldn't see any traces of him, even with the torches in their hands. Before they could think of any plausible explanation, the skeletons reached them, and they turned to face the creatures… and then the riders began to get hit on their backs by arrows… Aaron climbed the tree and hit in there.
The enemies panicked since they didn't expect that, and their decision-making skills failed them when the skeletons jumped to attack… that only worked to speed up their demise. The ten riders soon found their end, but the last one threw their torches at the leaves and set them on fire, and when that illuminated the area, Aaron was revealed.
The enemy raised his spear to throw, but Aaron put an arrow on his eyesocket before that could happen.

Aaron used his mana to transform the bodies into skeletons, but soon he ran out of it and then had to use his status Points he just got to increase his MP. He wanted to check the new skill, but he couldn't wait for it.
"They were overly cautious for some reason…" Aaron thought. "Their weapons and armor are of high quality, so someone rich and powerful is their master… someone knowledgeable knows about what is going on in this country."
While questioning such a person might come in handy, to solve the issue, Aaron had to press someone a bit above in terms of power and influence in the country… Turning around and retiring to the city was a waste of time.
The horses of the riders had split in the area, and while killing them to increase his army was a good idea, Aaron didn't want to needlessly kill everything. If that was to happen, it was bound to happen… so he just grabbed a single horse to use.
After three hours, the other skeletons arrived, and Aaron gave them the order to keep an eye on the area while he slept.
When Aaron woke up, the sun was rising. He had to wait for a while longer to see that large group moving again… until now, he didn't find any signs of the roads splitting. Still, he might end up wasting a lot of time if he goes ahead as fast as possible without any guidance.
"I suppose I can use you all to scare them and force them to make me meet their leader as soon as possible…" Aaron thought while looking at his skeletons. "Their forces will have to recognize my power against their numbers."
Walking with the skeletons during the day was proving to be a headache, so Aaron was seriously thinking about doing that. Still, he might end up making people unable to cooperate with him. He had to make them understand that he wasn't their enemy and that he truly wanted to prevent the destruction of that world.
In the end, Aaron decided to travel alongside them a bit farther away from the roads. They would be able to hide faster that way, and they also would be able to attract more creatures to increase the undead army.
