In the heart of the forest, where the ancient trees whispered secrets of old.
The once-corrupted deities, now cleansed of their malevolence, retreat to their shrines, while the souls of those who fell victim to the corrupted deity find solace in becoming guardians to the Shrine deities.
"The deities went back to their shrines," murmured the aged priest, his voice carrying the weight of centuries past.
"Souls once lost to the darkness, now redeemed by the light, shall stand sentinel over these lands."
Chief and Narra, having fulfilled their duty, return to the town as heroes. Narra, in particular, is rewarded for her bravery and valor in facing the evil spirits that plagued the forest. In a formal ceremony at the Town Hall, Narra is presented with her well-deserved reward by Regeli, the Assistant to Mayor Kuzon.
"I'm Regeli, the Assistant of our Town Mayor, Mayor Kuzon," Regeli announces solemnly, handing Narra a bundle of valuable coins.
Narra's Reward: 1 rectangle platinum pine, 3 gold pines, 10 silver pines and 200 copper pines.
4 nickel pines is equivalent to 1 copper pine = 1 peso ($0.018)
100 copper pines is equivalent to 1 silver = worth 100 pesos ($1.75)
100 silver pines is equivalent to 1 gold = worth 10,000 ($175.00)
50 gold pines is equivalent 1 Rectangle Platinum = worth 500,000 ($8,750.00)
"These are your rewards for helping us defeat the corrupted evils and restore peace and safety in the forest."
Gratefully accepting the reward, Narra listens intently as Mayor Kuzon steps forward to express his gratitude personally.
"I'm Kuzon, the Mayor of this town," he declares warmly. "I want to thank you and the chief for everything you've done. If there is anything you need or want to know, just ask us, and we will try our best to help and assist you."
Narra, her mind already buzzing with plans for the future, seizes the opportunity to seek further assistance from the town's authorities.
"Thank you, Mayor Kuzon, for this reward," she replies earnestly.
"I came here to start my business, and I hope that you can assist me with learning the currencies, history, and culture. I also wanted to ask for your recommendation for a place to stay."
Mayor Kuzon nods understandingly, already prepared to offer Narra more than just advice.
"Since you saved the forest, we planned to give you the house at the end of town," he reveals.
"It's a big two-storey house that no one lives in. It might be a bit dirty right now and not well maintained, but we will start cleaning and arranging it today. So, you don't have to buy any house or rent. But for the meantime, you can stay in the City Garden House, and I will assist you later with shopping for your needs."
Overwhelmed by the generosity of the townsfolk, Narra expresses her heartfelt gratitude.
"I will ask Selia to give you the books and information you need," Mayor Kuzon adds.
"But for now, let's eat dinner while they prepare everything you need."
As the sun sets over the town, casting a warm glow over the scene, Narra's journey from fearless adventurer to respected member of the community begins to take shape, guided by the kindness and support of those around her.
----------------
In the bustling ambiance of the Canteen, Mayor Kuzon, Regeli, and Narra found themselves seated around a table filled with delicious dishes—a hearty beef stew, flavorful curry, juicy steak, and refreshing juices.
The tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared meals wafted through the air.
Amidst the clinking of utensils and the hum of voices, As they dug into their meals, Mayor Kuzon, with a mouthful of steak, broke the silence with a question for Narra.
"Narra," he began, his gaze curious yet gentle,
"I find myself wondering about your origins. How did you come to find yourself in our humble town?"
Narra paused, unsure how to answer.
"I'm not really sure, Mayor Kuzon," she admitted.
"I feel like I might not even be on Earth anymore. It's like I could be in a different place, maybe even another dimension or universe. So, I'm not sure if I can say I'm from another country, region, island, city, world, or dimension."
Mayor Kuzon, his brow furrowed in contemplation, listened intently as Narra shared her tale.
"If you seek bearings in this unfamiliar landscape," the Chief offered, his tone reassuring,
"know that you find yourself in the Buran Village—a corner of Abutilon Town, nestled within Cavanake City, the vibrant heart of the Moldavite Region."
"You're currently standing in Buran Village, part of Abutilon Town, one of the towns in Cavanake City. We're at the heart of the Moldavite Region. And as for our homeland, it's called Cinnabari—one of the wealthiest countries in the world, part of Galia," Mayor Kuzon explained, his tone brimming with warmth and clarity.
-------------------
After their meal, Regeli and Narra strolled towards the Department of Information and Communications, their steps echoing through the corridors of the bustling city.
"Welcome to the Department of Information and Communications. I've been expecting your arrival," greeted a woman named Selia, her warmth enveloping them as they entered.
"Good day, Selia. Do you have the books and information that the Mayor requested for Narra?" Regeli eagerly asked.
"Yes, indeed! Everything's arranged in the Private Learning Room on the second floor," Selia replied with a smile, leading them upstairs.
As they ascended, Narra's eyes widened at the sight of countless books and papers adorning the tables.
"Ms. Narra, these books contain everything about our world—histories, cultures, flora, fauna. If you ever need more information, you can always find me here. And here are the papers you need to sign for your identification, bank account, and the house," Selia explained, handing over the documents.
With a nod of gratitude, Narra signed the papers while Regeli gathered the books.
Later, as they walked towards the City Garden house, Narra marveled at the beauty of the fountain and trees.
Arriving at their temporary abode, they were greeted warmly by other tenants and housekeepers.
"This will be your room until the house at the end of town is ready. Your books and documents are inside," Regeli informed Narra, leading her to her room at the back.
"Thank you, Regeli, for everything," Narra expressed her gratitude.
"I'll be back in an hour. You can freshen up, and then we'll head to the Town Market for your ID and bank card, as well as some shopping," Regeli said before departing.
Narra headed to the wardrobe and discovered that clothes and a towel had been set out for her. Afterwards, she descended the stairs and approached one of the housekeepers to ask about the location of the bathroom, where she proceeded to take a bath.
----------------------------------------------
Following their visit to the Department of Information and Communications, Regeli and Narra ventured to the Town Market and the bank.
At the bank, Narra made various deposits, including 1 Platinum pine, 1 gold pine, 5 silver pines and 150 copper pines. In return, she received a bank card. They then used the remaining 1 gold pine for their food and shopping spree.
Their shopping excursion led them to a dress shop and several food stalls. Additionally, Narra sought membership in both the Adventurer's Guild and the Merchant's Guild, with Regeli's assistance.
After exploring the town and completing their errands, they returned to the comforting embrace of the City Garden.
-------------------
In the tranquil atmosphere of the shrine, a puceau attended to the needs of a monkey.
Alongside providing nourishment, the puceau furnished the monkey with books, imparting lessons in basic etiquette and manners.
Surprisingly intelligent, the monkey displayed remarkable adaptability, swiftly grasping their writing system.
--------------------------------
After finishing their meal in the dining hall of the City Garden, Narra retired to her room, her mind swirling with the events of the past two days.
"So much has happened in such a short time," she mused to herself, reflecting on the whirlwind of experiences.
As she settled into her room, a pang of longing for her family struck her heart.
With a sigh, Narra picked up her silver pen, contemplating the whereabouts of her other duplicates and her family.
"How are my other selves faring, and what might my family be up to?" she pondered, the ache of homesickness tugging at her.
Driven by a yearning to reconnect, Narra wielded her silver pen, piercing the fabric of reality with a swift stroke.
With practiced precision, she widened the slit in the portal, creating a passage back to her room.
"Narra, you're back!" exclaimed Narra No. 2, her face lighting up with joy as she welcomed her counterpart.
"Everyone, Narra has returned!" called out Narra No. 3, rallying the other duplicates to gather around.
Curiosity sparked, Narra delved into the affairs of her other selves, addressing each in turn.
"Narra No. 3, how did our quiz go?" she inquired, her interest piqued.
"We aced it!" Narra No. 3 responded gleefully, her satisfaction evident.
"And Narra No. 4, did you manage to finish our project?" Narra queried, eager for updates.
"Completed it ahead of schedule," declared Narra No. 4, a sense of accomplishment radiating from her.
Turning her attention to Narra No. 2, she asked, "Did you lend a hand to Mom and Dad?"
"Indeed, and I also spent time with our siblings," Narra No. 2 replied with a smile.
"Excellent work, everyone. For now, Narra No. 1, it's your turn to take the reins in Galia. I'll remain here for the time being. Make sure to gather our essentials for our business and pay a visit to Monkey," Narra instructed, her tone decisive.
"Got it," affirmed Narra No. 1, heading towards the portal to Galia.
