Synopsis
The invaders were thwarted off, and their attack was halted with their sudden disappearance, although it didn't result in a celebrated victory as millions more were lost during the century-long war. Now, with the invaders gone, the amnesty treaty has been nullified. With more and more countries hungering for more security and power, tensions have begun rising. With some rumors spreading that certain alliances have been constructed to conspire with other powerful individuals in an effort to seize the might of other countries. However, amongst these rumors, one didn't speak of any conspiracy. It wasn't a rumor nor a myth But a Warning. The Invaders will soon descend upon this land, with a might never before seen by the world. Their forces would be too much for us to handle, and the second they appear will bring forth the end. --------------------- Updates Every 16:00 PHT, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! Currently a WIP! Chapter 1 - Prologue

(Duty over.. Conscience?)

Indistinct whispers constructed from unknown origins eminated into the air accompanied by a series of soft snifles and repressed howls. Amongst all the violent raindrops granted by the storm above, there was an individual wobbling through a path of mud in between two cliffs with seemingly endless pits.

She continued her snifles with incomprehensible chants as her arms trembled while she tigthened her embrace around a pile of white fabrics.

The rain grew more harshly. The wind soared from the west as if it was enraged, causing the woman to be pushed towards the edge of the path of the mud and almost fall off the cliff towards an endless abyss.

*CRACK*

"Gyah!" - She shrieked, as the ground beneath her feet shattered and fell, almost causing her to trip over. Her breathing became laboured yet quickened as she attempted to meticulously retreat away from the edge.

"Mu'lrensi Difar.. R'supo Del.."

The wind blew harder than before.

"Gik!"

The wind collided onto her back like a speeding truck, the impact was enough to completely knock her over the cliff despite being a few meters away,

"Tch..!"

The fabric that she was embracing a minute ago was launched into the face of the abyss alongside with her, bringing them into a state of a perpetual free fall, with every passing second exponentially decreasing their chances of survival.

"No..!" - She gritted her teeth. The robe above her head was still finely intact despite the amount of air pushing against them. After analyzing and comprehending the sight below, a surge of terror inhabited her chest causing her heart to skip a beat, however she quickly shook her head and directed all of her focus on the falling pile of fabric meters away from her.

- She pointed her palm towards the fabric. "Da--!! GACK!!"

-A searing sensation accompanied by a sudden burst of blood vessels on her right forearm caused her to shut her eyes and instantly retract her arm. However, seeing the fabric still falling, she immediately repositioned herself despite the severe protests her instincts.

"Dark..Dominion!"

- She extended out her arm and pointed it towards the falling fabric, resulting in a series of elongated, large and smooth black arms emerging and originating from the shadowy obscurity of the abyss.

The Arms proceeded to ascend towards the direction of the fabric, causing the individual's gritty teeth to slowly transition to a small smile.

The cloaked enigma continued to fall deeper into the abyss, though seeing the abyssal hands reach their target in time, all of the prevalent terror present inside her chest have been eliminated. She extended out her hand one last time towards the abyssal hands that was conscientiously attempting to lower the pile of white fabric into a stable surface.

She then clenched it, before a stream of tears emerged from her hood. Despite her situation, the smile on her lips refused to dissipate as she was quickly devoured by the darkness of the abyss.
