The Creature's head faced the other direction after colliding with Baskir's devastating blow.

Good..! That hit Properly!

Baskir, upon seeing the monster's left furry cheek imploded because of his punch, a large smirk formed on his lips.

Then..

Baskir lowered his waist and withdrew his right fist before a glowing blue-like substance seemingly materializing from thin air began to envelop his fist with so much quantity that it began to light up Baskir's right arm.

How about this..!!!

[BASKIR'S IMPERFECT RIGHT]

He launched the attack, with speeds that surpassed the normal time of the area itself with the wind appearing like a snail and the monster appearing like a frozen organism.

Get Lost..!

As the fist encoated with that unknown energy was about to collide on the monster's imploded cheek. A Large gray fist with black fur that dwarfed Baskir's already muscular body accelerated downwards and found itself centimeters away from Baskir's head.

..Cra-!!!

The Fist slammed down on Baskir's muscular stature before it sent him flying to the ground, the impact was enough to send the surrounding trees soaring through the air and a large crater to appear around Baskir that was as big as the monster itself.

The monster then straightened it's head and opened it's cavern-like mouth crawling with insects.

ROAR!!!!!

Baskir's body began oozing out blood as he laid on the center of the crater paralyzed, his right arm was discolored with a shade of purple as it rested on the ground with a form that looked like a child's scribble.

As the roar entered Baskir's bleeding eardrums, he tried to open his eyes as fast as he could, but lifting his eyelids felt like lifting mountains.

"URGHKK!!!"

He groaned, attempting to move his severely injured body with several destroyed joints, pulverized bones and jelly-like muscles. It was a sight of pity.

The Creature then laid it's glowing yellowish cat-like irises on the orphanage's direction before forming a sneer and releasing it's elongated tongue to lick it's lips. Baskir, despite having no sight of the creature..

..!!

Felt an intense shiver caress his spine as he felt the surrounding wind pulling him closer for a chilly embrace. He shuddered and slowly gritted his teeth, as he realized why his usually insensetive senses are picking up the coldness of the wind and his ragged breathing.

All of them are fired up.

THEY ARE TELLING HIM TO MOVE!

The creature slowly advanced towards the Orphanage, with each step strong enough to leave small craters and send out minor earthquakes.

[WARNING] [WARNING] [WARNING]

[WARNING] [WARNING] [WARNING]

[WARNING] [WARNING] [WARNING]

The same crimson colored window that flashed at irregular intervals greeted Baskir's bloody eyes. Baskir still couldn't lift his eyelids and sneered instead upon hearing the familliar sound.

Fucking Hell...Is this how things end? But what about them..? Lether..Corn..Cale..The children of the orphanage..? they still...

A switch flipped inside of Baskir's mind.

Wait..the Children?

The children..

THE CHILDREN!!

He tried harder in making his body move.

The Creature drew closer and closer as Baskir struggled even more.

Damn it!! My body is way too weakened!!

Is this it..!?

Am I gonna lose something.. again!?

again..!!

A small flashback occured inside of Baskir's mind. Showing a scene where corpses were stacked upon one another and a large flame consuming these bodies little by little. Baskir stood there stunned, as he saw an apparition of a man tightly gripping a bloody sword before a small girl with blonde hair in the middle of the corpses.

The man slowly drew closer to the child, while it backed off in return.

Baskir gritted his teeth and hurriedly closed his eyes, with a small tear squeezed out by his eyelids.

No..!!!!

Not Again!!!!

I can't have that!!!

I will not let that!!

Whatever it takes!!!

Baskir let out a large warcry, that rivaled the creature's bellowing roar, causing it to halt and turn its attention on Baskir once more.

Its been a while..

I've forgotten..

Baskir took a deep breath.

Sorry.. Michaella.

This will be our.. last time.

take care of them.. for me.

I'm sorry..

Baskir in spite of the excruciating pain electrocuting his nerves, opened his mouth as wide as he can, in the same time, he flashed open his eyes revealing his bloodshot irises.

"SYSTEM!!!!"

A Huge pillar of the same bluish-energy descended upon Baskir. Stunning the creature and rejuvenating the injured man.

"GRANT ME [AUTHORITY!!!]"

The Pillar then grew stronger..

bigger..

and brighter..

sending out a violent wind along with various tremors in all directions.

-----------

Cornelius ran through the dimly-lit hallways with lightning sparks appearing and vanishing abruptly around his body. He carried three paralyzed children on his back, two on his arms and two on his front, though despite this circumstances.. He suddenly halted dead on his tracks.

The two children clutching firmly on his front torso looked up, as they felt drops of cold water pouring on them.

"Brother..Corn?"

Cornelius, hearing the children's soft and meek voice, shook his head and started running again, paying no heed to their weight and especially the roaring sensation on his lower body.

----------

Cale on the other hand kept slaying weaker foes with his small dagger as Fereez tagged along.

"Fereez..We are about to..!?"

A large bluish pillar suddenly appeared near them, lighting up the entire forest. Cale immediately looked towards the pillar while Fereez stared in horror. The Pillar grew brighter and stronger as time passed.

"Ca..Cale..? wh-what..is th..that?" - Fereez'es tender hands began to shake as he instinctively backed off feeling the sheer size of the Pillar that towered over everything. Even the monster they still couldn't see.

Cale basked his eyes on the sheer light radiated by the pillar, he paused for a few moments as a distinct memory flashed before his very eyes.

"Damn it.." - Cale whispered.

"Ca-cale...Are you--!!"

*THUCK* *THUMP*

Fereez tried to extend his arm out to Cale, but he suddenly halted and looked towards the direction where hundreds upon hundreds of frantic footsteps headed towards their direction.

Cale's eyes grew grim while Fereez'es sweaty face became a breeding ground of terror. Cale firmly gripped his silver dagger and leaped a few steps backwards closing in on Fereez.

"MONSTERS!"

-Cale yelled as Fereez crouched down with shut tight eyes.

There from the shadows of the Trees, emerged a wave of salivating monsters with crimson-colored eyes, they ran towards the two without a care for their kin getting trampled on by the others.

..Sis Lether..!!

-As the monsters closed in, Cale closed his eyes and yelled inside his head.

..Help..Us!

-Fereez firmly squeezed his hair as he remained crouched down behind the shaky Cale.

The wave of the beasts got so close that their hot breath caressed Cale's pale neck, making the boy flinch.

"Tch.."

Cale clicked his tongue and gripped his dagger tighter.

I can't.. go down without a fight..!

Cale opened his eyes, shortly mortified by the saliva-filled jaws of the beasts inches away from his face, however he blinked and all of that terror was replaced by anger.

He withdrew his dagger and formed a slightly squatted stance before releasing a loud cry.

"GRAHHH!!!"

He waved his dagger, hoping to catch one of the beasts by their torso.

*Fwish*

I missed..?

The Monsters got dangerously close and Cale was unable to react.

No..! - He closed his eyes

However..

The Monsters passed by them leaving them unharmed before running faster than ever before.

Cale stood there frozen with closed eyes, he waited for a few moments, expecting one of the beasts, cold razor-sharp fang to drill deep into his tender skin.

..Huh? - He halfly opened one eye.

The Monsters are gone.

All that was left was Fereez'es quiet wails and the distant howls of the nighttime breeze circling through the woods.

There was nothing.

Cale sheathed his dagger inside his belt and began to ponder.

were they running..away?

But feeling the boy's pitiful nudges, he quickly diverted his attention towards Fereez.

"Its alright.."

Cale placed his hand on top of Fereez'es hair, causing the boy to flinch before shaking even more violently.

Cale's eyes grew teary upon recalling a memory. "..Fereez its me..Cale..everything is gonna be alright.."

Fereez'es trembling eventually sated causing Cale's teary face to form a small smile.

Cale crouched down and sat beside Fereez, rubbing the boy's cold backside.

"Its okay."

Cale leaned on a small log behind them and closed his eyes, keeping his gentle rubs on Fereeze's back.

The two basked on the peaceful chill brought by the pleasant surprise just now, what left them was a sky filled with stars, the serene rustling of the leaves filling their ears, the distant howls getting weaker and weaker, as well as the breeze pulling their injured bodies in for a warm embrace.

Though all of the sudden, Cale blinked and looked towards the sky.

"..Wait..Where's the pillar?"

Just like a lightning bolt, the peaceful rest they were once basking in quickly dissipated and was replaced by an intense pressure that crushed the air above them.

The two were forced to lower their heads, unable to counter the force being brought down on their bodies.

"Wh-what the..heck..?" - Cale whispered.

He turned his eyes towards the frozen Fereez. His eyes grew wide as he saw the young boy staring at the ground in a daze.

Damn it!! - Cale gritted his teeth.

------

[Orphanage]

Cornelius'es glowing irises grew wide upon feeling the exact same pressure, he felt the children clutch his clothes more firmly as they began to scoot themselves closer to him.

Is it time..?

He scoffed, as he continued to traverse the spiral staircase lit up by wooden torches, with speed much slower than before.

..Damn it.. if only..

In the exact same moment, Cale and Cornelius exclamed something inside their lowered heads.

I WAS STRONGER!

----

Inside a dark room somewhere in the orphanage, a large muscular individual with long blonde hair immediately sat up and looked towards the direction where the pillar was once present.

His face was obscured by the darkness of the room, though one thing was apparent, because of his glowing white eye radiating a small lightning bolt.

"You idiot."

----

Baskir emerged from the Pillar before it vanished. Feeling the pressure, the Monster quickly retreated a few steps backwards from the floating Baskir.

His body was suddenly restored to its former state free of injuries. He raised his hanging head and faced the monster while a black tatto resembling a lion quickly materialized on his chest, spreading throughout his torso and limbs.

The Lion's face was engraved on Baskir's chest, and after it was finished, It's eyes glowed a bright shade of blue along with Baskir's irises.

"MONSTER.."

Baskir spoke, with a voice that resembled a thunderous roar. The lines from his tattoos also glew with the same blusih color, spreading slowly throughout his stature.

"YOU DARE DEFY ME?"
