[RUN]
The rectangular, semi-transparent window in front of Baskir repeatedly flashed a crimson-colored square spelling out the most appropriate course of action. A sweat slides down his cheek as he forms a troubled smile while analyzing the countenance of the creature.
It was a ten meter-long creature with a height comparable to two trees stacked atop each other. It's large, salamander-like body encoated in rocky scales held the head of a grizzly bear swimming with termites and glowing crimson eyes that resembled a cat. It crawled using four gorilla-like limbs equipped with formidable muscles.
"What..kind of animal is this?" - Baskir whispered, staring intently towards the grotesque being meters away.

"..Gimme yo break." - Baskir heaved a sigh, daring not to move a centimeter as the creature rotated its head around the area, occassionally raising its nose and sniffing the air. "..If that thing spots me..." - He scoffed.

"I'm dead."
-----
[Meanwhile, in the rundown cabin somewhere in the forest's vicinity.]
A lonesome Fereez embraces his knees as he looked down with teary eyes while biting his lower lip. It was dark inside the cabinet, the capacity of it made it rather difficult for the child inside to properly move.
His snifles filled the emptiness of the closet while a relatively young memory resurfaces inside his head. "..uuuuhh.." -
"Fereez, for now you will have to listen to everything I say."
sister lether's tone was scary. Her hand that was holding onto my shoulder was hurtful. Her face was also scary, is she mad? She told me she wasn't...
A tear rolls down on Fereeze's cheek before a wide seemingly forced smile materializes on his dirtied face. if she is mad.. then.. its alright. I deserve it.
His head sinks deeper into his knees.
it'll be like that time again...
A hurtful memory seizes Fereeze's imagination. (Mother..!!)
no..please no..
His embrace grew tighter around his knees.
i don't..want to be alone..again. and again..
*Creak..*
Fereez'es weeping was suddenly halted after the sound of the door creaking abruptly entered his ears. Fereez'es eyes grew wide as his mind visualized a bloodied animal with crimson eyes pushing the door open.
..wait..no!
("If I'm not back by morning. Tell [Her]") - Lether's words echoed inside his head.
it's sister lether!!
Fereez immediately retracted his hands on his knees and pushed the closet door open, ignoring all the protests echoing from his instincts.
sister!
But what had greeted his eyes wasn't Lether. It was rather more surprising than a dozen of Brutalized monsters emerging from the door, it was really indeed something that even he never thought of in a million years.
huh..?
"Cale..?"
------
"It doesn't seem like it had spotted me yet.." - Baskir thought to himself, as he laid his eyes upon the creature repeatedly smelling the air. "..I should slowly retreat." - He whispered, before gently turning around and locking his eyes on the nearest possible trail.
*ROAR!!!*
An extremely loud, bellowing roar that echoed like a thunderous storm was released by the creature. The sheer intensity of the roar was enough to make Baskir collapse to his knees and cover his ears with his hands. "Urghk..!!" - He groaned, before glancing towards the Creature. It had now focused its head towards the left, then an elongated tongue overflowing with saliva emerged from its murky mouth before licking the edges of its lips.
Baskir squinted his eyes in doubt, before he quickly turned his eyes towards the freckles of stars scattered on the sky, with much more emphasis on currently the brightest one.
"..Its facing south..? Why?" - Baskir whispered. After a few moments of pondering an answer came into him, causing his eyes to widen, his senses to erupt and a surge of adrenaline to soar through his veins.
"It can't be..!!!"
He instanteneously turned his head towards the south with great vigour. The creature slowly lifted its gorilla like limbs to march towards the direction its facing, with each step enough to tremble the earth below it.
"Its Facing the Orphanage!!"
---
"Cale..?"
-Fereez uttered meekly, as a familliar-looking boy pushes the door open, with a body bathing in sweat.
"...huff..puff.." - Cale desperately tried to catch his breath before finally looking up to the astounded Fereez. "hey.."
"Ho-..How the hell did you get here!?" - Fereez questioned with a voice that made the surrounding trees to shake. "..quiet!" - Cale leaped towards Fereez and immediately placed his index finger atop the boy's mouth. "..I'll explain everything later.." - Cale averted his eyes, before locking them straight to Fereez shortly after. "For now. Where is Sister Lether?" -- "She- She told me to stay put..before running off to the woods." - With a meek tone Fereez spoke before averting his eyes. Cale paused, he then formed a small smile before stepping away from Fereez. "..Fereez let's go."
Cale turned around and headed for the half-opened door. "Ca-Cale! Its too dangerous!!" - Fereez, with minimized irises ran after the boy. "..It's not." - "What are you...--!!" - Fereez uttered as he slowly analyzed Cale from head to toe. His eyes grew wide after it saw the small sharpened dagger sheathed into a jet-black scabbard with a few golden lines embedded on it. "Trust me Fereez, and it won't be long before we are back." - With a faint glow eminating from Cale's golden eyes, he turned towards Fereez, causing the boy to hesitate for a moment. "..Wha-what about Sister Lether!?" - Fereez asked. A smile formed on Cale's lips once more. "You got one thing wrong Fereez..." - He replied, exiting the cabin.
"You shouldn't.."
A certain memory resurfaces inside Cale's head.
"Underestimate her."
----
Somewhere inside the Orphanage, a man wearing a dirty leather tunic, brown pants and broken brown shoes stood before a room marked with a number. His gaze was downcasted as he slowly raised his fist in front of the door before a sigh escaped from his dried lips.
"..I feel bad." - He uttered, before looking at the door infront. "Was I too harsh on the little Cale?" - He whispered. "He wanted to go out to find Sir Baskir and the others but.." -- "I'm not really permitted to allow them, its way too dangerous.. so I kinda raised my voice."
He looked at the doorknob. "Is he still sulking after it?" - He whispered.
"Hey.. Cale?" - He yelled, though softly as to not wake the others up.
"I'm sorry about earlier...You know I'm not really permitted to let you guys out so.." - He scratched the back of his head.
"I know you're worried about the others but.. hey I don't know much.. But I think they're strong..So you shouldn't worry.." - He shook his head and released a scoff.
"So..I don't expect you to forgive me.. right away. but yeah, I would very much like it if you do..even if you don't tell me that you already did.." - He tapped his fingers as his eyes darted everywhere.
"Cale...please don't be too..?" - His speech was abruptly halted as he squinted his eyes towards the door.
"He's been awfully quiet.." - He thought to himself.
"...Cale I'm coming in." - He grasped the archaic golden doorknob, however after holding it he blinked as he noticed that the door was slightly open ajar. A small sense of dread began to crawl up his spine before proceeding to slowly open the door. "Cale..?" - He called.
The scene that greeted his eyes however, made his face grow pale, his blood run cold and his heart to beat quicker.
The bed, that was supposed to be yielding the sleeping child was empty.
The window was opened widely.
- He clicked his tongue as his eyebrows furrowed. "Shit..!" The man then proceeded to sprint outside of the room with incredible vigour. "I need to tell Her!" - He uttered.
As he sprinted on the wooden hallway, his banging footsteps acted as an alarm clock for those who slept in the rooms that he passed by. However, the man's frantic footsteps will not be the only source of their concern.
*ROAR!!!!*
The blood-curdling cry of a certain creature caused the man to abruptly stop as his legs froze. He collapsed onto his knees and with dilating pupils, he grasped his rapidly beating heart while trying to catch his breath. "What The!?" - He whispered, bathing in sweat.
Muffled cries of children can now be heard resonating throughout the hallway.
"Wha..What the heck is this aura!?"
It feels as if my body is being ripped apart!

Its getting stronger?? No.. Its getting nearer!! - The left eye of Cornelius closed tightly as he gritted his teeth.
Its coming from the north! - He raised his head to look at the direction in front of him. Though what greeted his eyes was just a small, unlit hallway. His senses saw something even greater, something so enormous that his instincts protested so harshly, it ignited an intense urge for him to turn and flee.
A Huge Monster is approaching from the North!!
The muffled cries and snifles echoed even louder inside the hallway.
The children..!!
With a nauseatic head and limpy body he lifted himself back and up and arched towards the nearest door he could see. As he laid his hands on the wooden door, he paused before smashing it open.
There he saw, a handful of kids curled up in the corner hugging each other. Tears were prevalent on their faces while their bodies trembled.
I must.. evacuate them!
"Ki..Kids!!" - Cornelius yelled, causing the children to flinch and cover their heads with their shaky arms.
"Tch..!"

As multiple windows colored with an orange glow color flashing crimson colored reminders began to materialize in front of Cornelius, he released a quick sigh before clicking his tongue.
I can't think straight..
He weakly turned away.
I must get out of here..
But before he could take another step, he blinked and glanced behind him. The crying children cowering in the corner caused something to surge inside his chest.
Do the kids..feel it too?
If this is enough to make me..cower..
i wonder how bad it is..for the kids?
He clicked his tongue before forming a small smirk.
And here I am..having the thought to run alone..
With a serious expression, he meekly turned back around and faced the children.
I am..
Small flashes of blue lightning began to materialize around his forearms.
The children noticed the light being radiated from it and turned their teary eyes towards Cornelius, whom was now completely enveloped in lightning.
PATHETIC..

Cornelius'es hair began to sway, his neck was arched downwards slightly darkening his face but a visible smile was present on it.
[USAGE OF ESTRIC SKILLS WOULD BE RENDERED DANGEROUS! DO YOU WISH TO PROCEED?]
Dismissing the window in front, With a deep almost thunderous voice he whispered. - "Executing Skill.."
Throbs of painful protests and searing sensations came from every corner of his nerves.
I am a piece of Shit!
His veins grew visible as his muscles contracted.
"...brother cornelius..?"
I will get them out of here..no matter..
He quickly raised his head, revealing a pair of bright cyan colored glows eminating from his angered eyes.
[THUNDER FESTIVAL]
what it takes!
----
Baskir stood paralyzed before the creature as it made its way to the south of their location. A sweat slid down his cheek as he visualized the aftermath of fighting such a being.
there's no way.. I can take that on..
He gripped his ax tighter.
I'll probably last.. 5 minures at most.
But..will that be even enough..? Can I really..--
A pleasant memory filled with laughter and cheerfulness flashed inside Baskir's mind, Completely eliminating his reasoning but causing a volcano of leftover drive to erupt inside of his heart.
He smiled, it grew wider eventually spiraling into a large smirk.
Have I just hesitated..when there are people behind me..?
A scoff escaped his lips.
As expected.. years of this job have softened me up a little bit.
He then focused his look towards the creature.
I can't have you...reaching it!!!
He took a deep breath significantly expanding his chest, before releasing it into a loud yell almost rivaling the roar of the creature. It halted on its tracks and turned slowly to look at Baskir, whom was grasping the further end of his battleax with only a single hand.
"You piece of forest shit!!"
"I was told to never harm the guardian of this forest.."
He pointed the axe towards the dumbfounded creature.
"But that changes now!"
His veins began to glow in a sharp orange color. A line then began to emerge from Baskir's fingers holding the same color glow eventually covering the entirety of the battle ax.
Its been a while..
He stomped on the ground beneath him and slightly crouched.
if I can't win..
He released a sigh.
I will stall!
A smile formed on his lips.
"MONSTER LISTEN!!"
He pointed and yelled, before instantly vanishing into the air causing the creature to dart its eyes around.
However its search was soon cut short when.
*SMACK!!!*
A smash almost faster than the speed of sound collided with the Creature's face, causing its head to turn towards the other direction.
Baskir tightened his grip and a sense of satisfaction erupted on his heart.
"ONE OF US WILL DIE TODAY!!"
