But before Wuxie could respond, a glint caught his eye from the corner of the chamber.
Curiosity getting the better of him, he stumbled over to investigate, the other cultivators following close behind.
To their surprise, they discovered a hidden passage obscured by a veil of ancient cobwebs. Wuxie, ever the clumsy adventurer, nearly tripped over a loose stone, sending the cobwebs scattering in all directions.
"Oops," Wuxie muttered sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
But as the dust settled, they found themselves staring into a narrow tunnel disappearing into the darkness.
"Wuxie, what have you done?" Wovi exclaimed, its voice a mixture of awe and exasperation.
Wuxie grinned, feeling a surge of adrenaline rush through him. "Looks like we found ourselves a secret passage," he said, his voice filled with excitement.
