After going through all the necessary harvesting spot that Gaidos gave me... Which took around 3 weeks because we're going through the space optimally...
Which prompted some suggestion in my head. "Maybe we should build a warp jumper as soon as possible." And as soon as I let that suggestion out of my head, Gaidos replied with "Well, in order to create a Warp Jumper, you need to upgrade your ship to at least be a carrier. A single use warp jump is not good enough for us because that would randomize the coordinates we teleported into and the range of it isn't really far."
"Yes, I recognize that problem. Carrier huh... I guess, there's still a few upgrades that I needed to have before I can even think of making a Warp Jumper, right?"
"Indeed. Warp Jumper needs to be constantly stabilize and there's no possible way for the lower tier ships to stabilize the Warp Jumper autonomously. And even normal carrier won't have a way to stabilize a Warp Jumper. But, with the knowledge that I have, I'm able to stabilize the Warp Jumper." Gaidos explained confidently and proudly from the tone of its voice.
So, Gaidos can feel a bit of emotion huh. Well, that's nice...
"Well then, let's utilize that as soon as we can. For now, how long will it take for us to go to Mother Nihility?"
"It will take approximately 1 month, Captain. For the time being, I will search for a way to get the remainders of the materials from scavenging in a relatively safe area."
"Yeah, you do that. That would be nice if we can find ships we can scavenge..." I can obviously wait for 1 month and would have enough money selling some raw materials I found and information about the whereabouts of those Raw materials and get the remaining parts that way.
But obviously, having a safe scavenging trip would be preferred. But It's hard to have a safe scavenging trip so that's why I put it on the lowest of priority...
Anyway... The reason why I decided to continue on my journey to Mother Nihility despite being far away from it now is because the black market in Mother Nihility is the best chance for me to get everything needed for an upgrade. Anti Gravity System, High Temperature Furnace and Nanobots Repair station is going to be easily obtainable through the black market.
While Noah is enjoying his ride and reading the files of Damien Lilles once more to gain further understanding of how he can become like him...
In an area, far away from him, but pretty close to where he's aiming to go, which is Mother Nihility... An area specifically called the Abyssal Way, An area that Mother Nihility has taken control over due to the amount of resources that's drifting toward it. Specifically Asteroids that's valuable.
Many raw materials drifts to the Abyssal Way and Mother Nihility takes all of the valuable Asteroids to further improve the Interstellar Ark.
Hence, the area is heavily restricted and guarded with the best of the Mother Nihility have to Offer. The Abyssal Null Knights. A legion that is so strong that it's one of the few reason why Mother Nihility is dangerous.
The amount of carrier that Abyssal Null Knights have is enormous and every single one of them communicate every single second of their life. Not to mention, every single ships have a warp jumper that allows them to immediately be where the danger resides...
Today, is that time where the Abyssal Null Knights in on a high alerts.
The biggest ships, filled with the bests personnel of the Abyssal Null Knights, is stationed in the Abyssal Way itself, waiting for the danger to show itself once again...
Inside the ship, the captain of the ship, which is a very well equipped, clad in black knight, holding a very rough and sharp great sword with one hand... Watches over the entire control panel, waiting for any further information...
"Based on the Space Worm trails, it seems like it's going further and further away from the Abyssal Way, Captain. What do we do if the Space Worm didn't come back?"
"No, it will come back." A very commanding but calm voice came from the captain. Seemingly aware of the situation and knowing what the others don't.
"Space Worm is going to come back to Abyssal Way, as it hasn't finished what it's aiming for... As we know, the Space Worm likes to eat Asteroids. The Biggest Asteroid that we're harvesting right now, Stellargem veils, which is a treasure trove that we cannot lose no matter what, is the target of the Space Worm..." The Captain explained his view...
Then, the Vice Captain, a cool and collected tomboyish lady, with a short black hair and brown eyes, along with an armor similar to the captain, and a smaller rough and sharp sword on her hip...
"Captain Victor is right. We cannot leave our position right now. Instead, we should be strengthening our position by bringing a few more troops. If possible, bring in a few decoys and let those take the aggro of the Space Worm." She explained, further solidifying the Captain position.
Hearing the strongest pair in the ship make their statements clear, everyone in the control center can only oblige and calls for more back up and a few decoy ships that they can use to take the attention of the Space Worm when it eventually comes.
"Vice Captain Thea. Regarding this Space Worm, do you think we have a chance to win?"
"Naturally, Win is a guaranteed thing for Abyssal Null Knight. Failures means that our Mother Nihility loses its strongest frontline and in turns leaving it vulnerable. It's not just our lives that is at stake at every encounter with powerful creatures of the galaxy. But also our homeland." Thea, was determined to do whatever it takes to erase the Space Worm that has appear and endangering their home ship...
Victor, smiled lightly and then looked out to the galaxy in front of him. "You're right. What a silly question by me."
Soon, they're going to fight against the worst disaster that they have ever seen, unbeknownst to them...
