I went through the remains of the ships and get to the best position, a very hidden position and well covered. So even if the Space Worm detected where the shot came from, it's going to be hard for it to actually detect where I am from. Because the amount of corpses that's floating around me.
The sight of corpses floating around me isn't really that great to see. However, I know the fact that my home has been thoroughly ravaged by the space orcs. So, knowing that fact made it easier for me to act normally around these corpses...
"Captain, prepare to shoot."
Hearing Gaidos, I oblige and aimed my gun toward the spot that I wanted to target. I manually put the tracking device on the tip of my gun and then let the energy charged for a bit.
My Gun is still covered with cloth because it keeps the gun together properly. Since I don't have the proper resources to combine the gun properly... Anyway... I aimed and waited...
The worm continues to eat the Stellargem Vein and suddenly, I saw the moment to shoot. Gaidos didn't say anything but my instinct is telling me to shoot it because I saw the trajectory of my gun and the soft part of the worm is perfectly lined. Even after calculating, It only further proves that right now is the perfect timing.
And so, I pull the trigger and sparked a curiosity from Gaidos "Captain? It's too early isn't it?" To which, I just replied by casually putting my gun away...
The Blue laser shots through the space and headed straight and perfectly toward the side of the Space Worm...
"No... It is perfect." I said and then I went to hide to hide my trace...
Then, "GROARR!!" The Space worm screams for a bit, knowing that something pretty powerful just hit it on its weak spot. But, seeing that there's actually nothing that it can see to trace what the hit might be, it just continue eating the Stellargem Vein...
Gaidos was a bit shock knowing that my hit hits despite not needing it guidance. "Wow, it's impressive to see that your shot actually hit it perfectly. It seems like you have been observing Captain Damien Lilles files a lot seriously to the point you have that raw feeling similar to him."
"Well, what else would I do if I didn't read his files? That's the only thing I can do and it's fun doing it as well." And now, I went back to my ship and wait out for the Space Worm to go away...
Time passes by and the Stellargem Vein has completely been devoured. The Worm has disappeared as well. Leaving nothing but the remains of the fleet of ships and me, in here...
"Well then... There's still 2 days left before these two folks regain consciousness. Meanwhile, I shall loot everything that I needed to upgrade my ship."
I connected my suit to Gaidos once again and then search for the necessary things to upgrade my ship to an advanced Stealth Ship. This time, I'm able to actually upgrade my ship all the way, along with the Weaponry and Advanced Stealth System because their ships is absolutely advanced...
The map that Gaidos provided me of the things I needed to retrieve, is all over the place, due to how big the ship are. But fortunately, I can get most of the thing from the main ship of the legion. This ship is multi functional and that makes it easier for me to scavenge all of the thing.
I thought that it would be hard to get the Furnace, but no. They have a pretty advanced furnace. Anyway, I went around the ship and first off, get all the things that were required to upgrade my ship... Most of the thing that I needed, I received it from the storage unit. Such as the Quantum Stealth Cloak and the software updates, and many of the hardware stuff. The hardest thing to transport for me is the Weaponry. The Plasma Chamber and Energy Crystal they have... Is an absolute unit...
It was powerful, gigantic, and advanced...
It took a bit, but eventually I load everything there and left the Furnace outside of the ship and latch it onto the side of my ship.
As soon as I stepped back into the ship, "Welcome Back, Captain. You have worked hard. Do you need me to take over the upgrading session? You can continue going around the ships and loot more things."
"Is it necessary? Do you have a list of the next upgrade for the ship?"
"Depends on what you wanted. But, you haven't explore their medical bay yet. Because we have 2 patients in hand, I suggests that we look into building a Medical Station immediately. Judging from the ship in front of us, it's a commander carrier. Meaning, their Medical supplies is bound to be mighty as well."
"Alright then, Gaidos. Send me the list for an upgrade for a Medical Station. I'll look for it!" Although my body is feeling a bit fatigued from moving things around, knowing that there's still fun to be had, reinvigorated my body.
So, I make my way back to the main ship with the notes that Gaidos gave me. The most important thing that I needed to get right now is a Healing Nanobots, Healing Pods, some medicine and healing potion and most importantly, medical supplies such as bandages and any generic stuff. Because, Nanobots still need that generic stuff to heal our wound properly. They're just a vehicle, a robot to help us surviving. Not a god who can create and heal at will...
Anyway... I continue to scour the main ship and keep an eye on the upgrades of the Ship, because once the ship is finished upgrading, I will be transporting these resources back...
But then, as I'm looking at the upgrades, my vision caught something that is interesting as I'm going around the ship... It distracted me so much that I didn't get to actually see the upgrades being made...
The thing that made me lose my attention is the Research Lab. The door was shattered open and I see something that I feel like it might help me in my journey...
Since I haven't gone here, it's only natural that the main thing that they're putting on a massive tube. Gets my attention...
"A Big... Dark Energy Stone?"
I think I have found a jackpot right here.
