"Everyone, I think we should go meet the others as soon as possible I feel really uncomfortable here " Igris said
Though everyone was notable terrified after hearing what Vidya said, but Igris still couldn't let go of the tingling feeling,
"Why can I suddenly read this " one of the mages said
As the mage began reading each line of the law written on the stone table, the statue began to show signs of life ,first it rolled it's eyes , looking at the ones closest to it , that is Igris , prince Garrett, Lucia, Vidya and the other mages .
"Did that statues eye just move?", Igris thought,
"Was it always watching us? "
He just dismissed the thoughts as he being paranoid because of the series to f events that has been happening,
Suddenly, as the mage began reading the last line of the law the eyes of the statue
Started to glow red , the colour kept becoming more redish, like it was about to explode , Igris being the only one observing this the entire time ,shouted to the others at the top of his voice .
"Duck!!!"
Before anyone could react, a red hot beam was launched straight at them.

A yellow dome could be seen slowly disappearing, and the entire party of Igris were unscathed, but they were all on the ground , frozen out of fear ,
"I'm alive , I really am alive "
Igris said touching his body.
Up untill this point somewhere in his mind, he has viewed this entire incidence as unreal, something imaginary, he felt that they were in a very big illusion, that he can not be truly harmed or loose his life .
But, in the face of absolute power, in the face of true danger, Igris felt fear, he felt that if the prince didn't have that artifact with him , he would have died, they would all have died .
The once bold , excited Igris who felt he had everything all figured out was on the ground, shaken out of fear,
all the tales of adventure he read of his grandfather and other brave explorers of the past couldn't save him , hw doubted even his all powerful brothers could have matched that attack.
"I could actually loose my life here and not know what killed me" ,Igris kept mumbling, folding his hands around him, as of hugging himself.
"I can't die here , but what can I do , it's all over , " Igris kept saying
Meanwhile, at the center of the room , the others were surprised at what happened, they were all seated, when they saw the beam , blast the exact place where the prince , Igris and others were, there was dust everywhere, when the dust cleared alittle, a large hole could be seen where the beam was focused .
"What the fuck was that? "someone asked ,
"Are they dead " a girl said sobbing.
After few minutes of panicking,
"Why don't a few of us go check if there were any survivors" a boy said .
"It has been awhile and yet no movement from the hole, do you think they would even survive that " one person said,
"But the prince had that artifact, that had five chances to protect him , shouldn't he still have four more " another person said,
Everywhere became really quiet, then Rowan ,one of the Tang twins spoke up,
"I'll go, I am not asking anyone to follow me this time , I will go alone "
