After I beat those bandits, the one that seemed like the leader got ready to face me.
He said his name was Ban, but I really don't care. I just gave him my name since my late mom told me it is courtesy to give my own name after someone gives me theirs.
Looking back at that fight with the bandits, it was way easier than I expected. I wanted to fight using only magic, but it seems that my magic is too strong for those low-level bandits.
I even lowered my mana a lot before I used those spells, but it was still too powerful for them. I killed those guys quite easily.
Even when I was the one who killed them and even though it was my first time killing a human being, I feel completely fine. I'm not shaken even a bit. I don't know why, but I feel nothing when I see a dead body of a human being.
Oh, Ban is getting ready to attack me. I should get ready as well.
"Ability Boost"
"Wall Of Steel"
"Shoes of Pegasus Activate"
"Physical Power Enhance"
I watched as Ban started stacking himself with so many magic buffs. He must have a lot of magical equipment on himself to be able to stack himself with all that buff. Guess he is taking me seriously then.
"All my instincts are telling me that I'll die if I don't take this fight seriously."
"I'm honored to hear that. You can attack me whenever you want."
The fox girl has crawled away to a nearby tree and is leaning on it with her back. I was happy she did that because I don't want to hurt her by mistake.
Ban immediately readied his large sword and jumped high in the air above me.
"Blaze Burst"
He slashed at me with all his might and sent a shockwave that took the form of invisible blades to me. I can see it though, so it is no problem for me.
I jumped back a few distances to dodge the attack. When the attack impacted where I was before, it slashed deep into the ground and even cut some nearby trees around the place.
Even I will admit that that was a powerful move. So this is the power of a B-rank.
Ban, who was still in the air, created a magic circle below his feet and used it as a stepping ground to dash to where I was. I guess he is what is known as magic swordsman who can fight using both swords and magic.
I saw him coming to my location and I created walls of stone with my magic in front of me to block him while I jumped back to keep some distance between us.
Ban clicked his tongue before he slashed his sword at the stone wall, which destroyed them on impact.
He landed and dashed to my location with his speed enhanced. His speed was still below the Dioskilos, but I guess it was pretty fast considering that he is faster than a magic enhanced arrow. I've seen the speed of a magic enhanced arrow back in the village, and the Ban dashing towards me is faster than it.
Though he is still incredibly slow to me.
To prove this, I began to casually dodge all his sword slashes that he started releasing when he reached my location. The shockwave released from his sword was pretty much destroying the landscape around us , but none of his attacks reached me.
Ban's face looks like he was getting desperate to hit me, which made me smile. I wanted to show him the difference between us before I killed him, which is why I stopped moving and allowed his sword that was aimed at my neck to approach me.
Ban smirked when he saw this, and he increased the power in his sword to make sure I died with that one slash to the neck. His sword made contact with my neck and broke to pieces due to the power Ban added to it.
Ban had his eyes and mouth opened in a gobsmacked way, but this result was what I expected. I did say my durability was off the chart, didn't I?
Not giving him a chance to collect himself, I punched him with as little power I could. The result was Ban flying back like a ragdoll through several trees and finally crashing into the ground near the female fox.
I could see that the female fox had her eyes and mouth opened in shock, but I paid her no mind. Instead, I focused on Ban to see if he was still alive, and sure enough, he was.
Guess that Defense boost of his was no joke.
Ban weakly sat down on the ground and looked at me with shock and fear.
"How can you be this strong? No little girl should be this powerful. Just who on earth are you!?"
"Ara~ is that so. I guess I am the exception then, since I stand at the pinnacle of the human race."
I know I'm kinda boasting, but it may not be farfetch. After all, even a Lightning Eagle that is said to be an A-Rank monster died easily to me.
"What do you mean at the pinnacle? Are you one of those legendary beings?"
"Why should I tell a soon-to-be-dead man? Just sit there and obediently wait for your death."
I don't understand why he would think I was one of the legendary beings and I don't even know who the legendary beings are, but I didn't have the energy to indulge myself in conversing with him.
I may be trying to hide it, but I was very angry. My hatred for bandits runs deep due to the fact that it was bandits who killed my mother. I plan to eradicate all bandits I encounter during my journey, and I will start with him.
I immediately flew up in the air and looked down at Ban. I heard the female fox lady muttering 'She can fly too. She really is one of those top powerhouse,' but I chose to ignore her for now.
I began releasing a little bit of my mana, and the environment, including the sky, began to get dark.
Ban and the female fox lady began to tremble, but I ignored it all and raised my hand in the sky.
Following my hand, several pink spatial portals began to open in the sky. From it came forth a rain of swords of different sizes.
Back when I was training in the monster forest, because I wanted to know the limit of my mana, I began to create magical swords that I saw in the magic book. I heard that to create a single magical sword using magic will require an A-rank level of mana to accomplish which is why I began to do it.
I created and created, but my mana was just the same. In the end, when the Magical swords I created exceeded millions, I transported all of them into my pocket dimension that I created to be an infinite space.
The spacial portal I just opened lead to my pocket dimension, and the sword falling from them were the one I created. I named this move Sword Rain.
About a hundred swords came out from the portals and were floating in the air as if waiting for my signal.
I brought my hand down towards Ban and all the sword immediately started flying to where he was at tremendous speed. An average magical sword is said to be able to cut down a small mountain with ease and a higher one can do more than that.
Because of this, I put a barrier around Ban in order to not let the damage from the magical sword to reach the city.
The Sword made contact with Ban and caused a massive boom which shook the entire road all the way to the city of Mufti. Needless to say, not even a spec of dust of Ban remained after that.
I clicked my fingers, and all the swords disappeared back into my pocket dimension, and I released my mana which caused the sky to return back to normal.
I flew down after that to see the female fox lady who was looking at me with fear. I was hurt to see that, but I needed to make sure she is ok.
I came close to her and began to heal her. She looked at me with shock, but didn't protest as I was healing her. Healing magic are just part of the many spells I mastered during the two years I spent training my powers.
After I was done healing her, I stepped back and looked at her with a smile on my face.
She looked around herself to confirm that all her injuries were healed before she looked back at me.
"Thank you for saving me your excellency. My name is Dora Sylvantail, and I am the last remaining member of the fox tribe."
I was shocked and confused about why she would call me your excellency. Do I look like some kind of big shot to her? I was so shocked that I didn't even register the name she gave me.
