Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The show was about to begin!

The song I recommend you listen to is...The Storm: Nightcore by Thefatrat. It's also the song they're singing...

....

In the heart of Cacti City, as the skies rumbled with thunder and clouds gathered ominously above, the city below was bursting alive with anticipation.

The weather phenomena, devoid of rain or lightning, seemed only to add to the electric atmosphere of the evening.

The city streets hummed with the buzz of concert-goers, a vibrant procession of demons making their way towards the arena for a night of music, drugs and anything sex.

Security, manned by an imposing cadre of hellhounds and dog demons, scrutinized each ticket with vigilance.

Fake tickets were met with immediate ejection, the unfortunate holders were unceremoniously kicked to the curb...literally or figuratively.

Inside the arena, a diverse crowd of demons from across Hell's rings gathered, their excitement could be seen as they awaited performances from a lineup of some of Hell's most popular artists, including the night's most anticipated sensation.

As tribal music echoed through the speakers, filling the air with its primal beat, a group of demons adorned in tiki masks and glow-in-the-dark body paint took the stage.

The lead singer, a charismatic demoness, danced and sang with fervour, her voice soaring over the pounding drums, captivating the audience with her energy.

"Za'u oe fru iknimaya

Nìftxavang ting mikyun, ting nari

Tompayä kato, tsawkeyä kato

Sì 'ekong te'lanä oeru teya si"🎵

BAM BAM BAM!!!

...

Outside the hotel, Tucker emerged from his brief slumber, invigorated by the distant rhythm that seemed to resonate with his own heartbeat.

"Sounds like the event is starting..."

Packing away his futon, he stretched his body, satisfying cracks could be heard as he then relaxed.

His eyes opened briefly, glowing a vibrant red before dimming, reflecting a momentary intensity.

"Za'u oe fru iknimaya

Nìftxavang ting mikyun, ting nari

Tompayä kato, tsawkeyä kato

Sì 'ekong te'lanä oeru teya si."🎶

With a swift motion, he donned his mask, transforming once again into a mysterious figure. Once he left the motel and was a good distance away he launched himself forward.

Tucker's form became a blur, his speed unparalleled as he made his way towards the city.

In a display of astonishing agility and power, he leapt skyward, his figure briefly visible against the darkening sky before vanishing completely with a practised hand gesture.

"Za'u oe fru iknimaya

Nìftxavang ting mikyun, ting nari

Tompayä kato, tsawkeyä kato

Sì 'ekong te'lanä oeru teya si

Za'u oe fru iknimaya

Nìftxavang ting mikyun, ting nari

Tompayä kato, tsawkeyä kato

Sì 'ekong te'lanä oeru teya si."🎵

Bababababaabam!!!

High above, Tucker noticed a blimp-like structure hovering over the stadium.

He dismissed it however as part of the concert's setup.

...

Meanwhile, across Hell, those unable to attend the concert in person—be it due to being broke bitche's or the barriers imposed on sinners—tuned in via 666 News Channel and other media outlets broadcasting the event live.

The concert had captured the attention of Hell's denizens far and wide, evidence of its widespread appeal, and how much hell liked music.

In stark contrast to the hype of the concert, an orphanage adoption centre housed a grey-haired female hellhound.

Finding safety under her bed's covers, she watched the concert on her phone, headphones in, momentarily escaping the harsh reality of her surroundings.

The sounds of conflict from other rooms faded into the background as she lost herself in the music, a small smile gracing her features.

.....

Backstage, the atmosphere was charged with a different kind of tension.

A tall, large-horned imp stood guard, his gaze fixed on his girlfriend, Verosika, as imps and assistants meticulously applied her makeup.

A complicated emotion flickered in his eyes but was quickly masked as he resumed his bodyguarding Job.

In his hands, a sniper rifle pointed menacingly at anyone he deemed a threat.

....

As the concert kicked off in the city of Cacti Tucker was now among the audience, blending in seamlessly, his presence unnoticed by most.

...

Valentina laid comfortably on her plush couch that probably cost way more than any sinner could afford in decades. She had settled in for the evening's entertainment.

With a rejuvenating face mask on her face and a plate of crisp cucumbers by her side, she tuned into the live broadcast of the concert happening in the Wrath Ring.

Every so often, her eyes darted across the sea of demons captured by the camera, hoping to catch a glimpse of Tucker amidst the crowd.

Though she couldn't spot him, the thought of him out there, navigating through the chaos of a Hellish concert, brought a smile to her face.

She knew it was his first time going to one of these so he was probably looking around, like a country bumpkin.

Valentina grabbed her phone and shot Tucker a text.

Valentina: "Hey, just checking in. The tower's still standing by the way, so rest assured I haven't started cooking again. 😜 Can you see anything from where you are? Or have you not arrived yet?"

Not long after, Tucker's response pinged back, his tone light and teasing.

Tucker: "Shocked to hear the tower hasn't been reduced to ashes. As for the view, it's all horns and tails from here. Heading to the VIP section for a better look. How's the concert from your end?"

Their exchange continued, a rapid-fire back-and-forth filled with jests and jibes that only close friends could share.

Valentina: "Be sure to wave at the cameras for me. And no, I haven't attempted another culinary disaster. Yet. 🙄 Enjoy the VIP treatment!"

Tucker: "Will do.🦊Catch you later!"

With a final exchange of emojis, their conversation came to a close. Valentina, content, settled back to enjoy the concert from afar.

.....

Meanwhile, backstage, Verosika Mayday stood before a mirror. She practised her expressions, her gaze lingering on the tattoo on her shoulder—a personal symbol of her determination and love for a certain large harned imp.

"This has to be perfect," she murmured to herself, a smirk playing on her lips. "For Blitzo, for us." Her nervousness was visible, yet beneath it lay a strong resolve.

Tonight wasn't just another performance; it was a declaration, an anniversary gift wrapped in song and spectacle. "I'm going to rock this city," she declared, her confidence swelling with each passing moment.

Her eyes glowed pink, and she without meaning to triggered her succubus charm, and those that had passed her room felt dazzed before fucking the first thing they saw.

...

Outside, the arena was a hive of activity and sweat. Thousands of demons filled the stands and floor, their excitement building to a fever pitch as the introductory act concluded.

The anticipation for the main performers, including the new sensation Verosika, charged the air with electricity.

...

Across the rings of Hell, in the Pride Ring, a more subdued scene could be seen within the run-down hotel housing Charlie Morningstar and her girlfriend, Vaggie.

Charlie was the princess of hell and was currently working hard to fulfil her dreams of rehabilitating sinners so they could go to heaven.

But that wasn't going quite so well, but If theirs is one thing that could cheer her up, it was music, she loved to sing and knew she could always express herself best through song.

And at this moment she was animatedly discussing the concert lineup, her excitement being barely contained.

"Oh my god, oh my god, have you seen this list Vaggie, so many of my idols are performing tonight, even Sizzor 666...they haven't performed in years.

Vaggie, though less invested in the music scene, listened attentively.

"I just can't wait to see them live someday," Charlie mused, leaning into Vaggie, who wrapped an arm around her, a smile gracing her features.

"Why didn't you go then." Vaggie had an idea why but wanted to know nevertheless.

"Well, you're a sinner so I wouldn't have been able to go with you, even if I'm a fan, I would only want to experience it if you were there with me," Charlie said making Vaggie melt, but she hid it as they hugged.

"Thanks, Charlie," Vaggie responded with a small but noticeable smile.
