Roman had spent the day in his office working on ways to keep Rick from harming Marcus. This was something seemingly easy but bribing officers was something he didn't like. Things could get bad when dealing with cops.
He also had to deal with his brother who had insulted his woman. He had giving Apollo 48 hours to apologize to Megan and a punch as a way to get revenge for Megan. No one would disrespect Her, not even his own brother.
The door of his office opens and his guard Axel ran inside.
"Sir Miss Megan has been shot and is at the hospital."
When he heard those words, he dropped the files that he was reviewing and his eyes widened, looking over at her. He was instantly worried as he got up from his chair and looks over at his guard. He speaks in a fast and worried tone.
"How bad is it? Is she alive? How did this even happen?!"
"It seems she was talking to Mr Apollo who was the actual target. Miss Megan got shot saving Apollo."
He instantly freezes when he hears that she got shot while trying to help Apollo. It felt like his heart just sank after hearing that and just when he thought things were looking up for her, this happened. His heart felt heavy and he felt this burning rage build up inside of him. He glares at his guard and speaks in a harsh tone. "Where is she now? How is she doing?"
"She is stable sir. Let us go to the hospital."
He nods his head as he walks out with him. His mind was in turmoil right now, and he couldn't think of anything else other than the fact that his girlfriend might have just saved his brother's life despite the fact that he doesn't deserve that attention or care at all. He feels the blood boiling in his veins and his heart beating through his chest at a fast pace as he walks with him. His rage only kept increasing as he walked.

As they make their way through the hospital, he keeps pushing his thoughts away and focuses on calming himself down as he walks with the guard. The closer he gets to her, the more he worries for her condition. All he wants is for her to be okay, and to feel better. He doesn't even want to think about the potential of losing her.
He finds Apollo seated in the waiting room looking worried. He was looking down and nervously rubbing his hands a habit Roman knew Apollo had since they were kids.
When he sees Apollo so worried and anxious, he glares harshly at him. His facial expression changes to one of anger and he walks right up to him and grabs him by his shoulder, turning him around so that they are facing each other face-to-face. He speaks in a harsh tone. "Don't you dare tell me you're here to check on her? When she got shot saving you!"
"Brother I was at her school to apologize. I had no idea someone was planning to shoot me!" Apollo said with tears in his eyes. He felt so guilty he didn't even want to look Roman in the eyes.
Seeing those tears in his eyes, his entire mood instantly softens up, and he feels his anger slowly beginning to fade away a bit when he realizes this is also unexpected for him too. He sighs and he lets go of his shoulder and speaks in a soothing and calm tone. "How badly is she injured?"
Megan suddenly walks out of the hospital room with an arm cast with doctor Ryan behind her.
"I am okay." Megan said although it was clear she was in pain.
"Your woman is hard headed Roman. She refuses to rest after I took out the bullet." Ryan complains.
As he sees her, he sighs in relief as he feels his heart beating faster. She was alive, and for now, that's all that mattered to him. Seeing her like this still made him upset and he wants to keep her safe with him. He stares back at the doctor and he raises his voice just a bit. "Will she make a full recovery, doctor? Or will she have to deal with any permanent damage?"
"The bullet didn't hit anything important but she needs to heal and rest up well."
He nods his head and he looks back down at his girlfriend, and he smiles softly at her. He was happy to hear that she's going to be perfectly fine and it made him feel like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders. he walks over to the side she's on and he gently places his hand on hers since he can't lean too close to her yet, otherwise, it might cause her more pain. He speaks gently. "How are you feeling, baby?"
"I'm fine. I fainted from the shock." She smiles but her eyes shift to Apollo who stood in the corner looking down.
He notices that her eyes shift towards Apollo and he follows the direction as well. He sees his brother still standing there in a state of worry and guilt, which surprises him a bit. He didn't expect him to be this worried about her wellbeing despite the fact that he treats her like trash every time they meet. It was one of the strangest things he had seen.
"I want to go home. May I go home please? I don't like hospitals." She begged.
He was feeling worried about her and wasn't eager for her to leave the hospital as she was but he could tell she was uncomfortable there, so he nods his head and he stares down at her as he speaks in a soft and gentle tone.
"We're going home. We're not gonna stay here a minute longer than we need to."
"I'll do house visits then." Ryan says with a sigh.
He glances over at the doctor as he sighs softly as well, but he nods his head in agreement to his words. He looks back down at her and speaks softly as he looks into her eyes. "We'll go home and I promise, I won't leave your side until you're fully recovered and you're feeling much better than you are now."
She smiles and nods. "Alright then."
He smiles back at her and then his face turns slightly serious as he glances back over at Apollo, who was still standing in the corner. He whispers softly into her ear. "Can you do me a favor for a second?"
"Should I go wait in the car?" She said knowingly.
She's quick and he likes that about her. He nods his head as he speaks in a low voice.
"Yeah, that would be smart. Just wait outside for me for a bit and I'll be out in just a minute, okay?"
"It's okay. I'll wait."
She leaves with his guards and he turns to Apollo.
He looks directly at him as he walks over to him and he folds his arms across his chest. He stares hard at him as he speaks in a menacing tone.
"Now...why did you go to her school?"
