The hairy giants swept through the defensive lines as if nothing, just like a hot knife cuts through butter.
This situation gave the possibility to break through the lines for some groups of player units, breaking the formation of dwarves and salamanders at once.
Seeing how those giants were throwing themselves on them, many soldiers began to falter, the victory they were easily reaching had transformed into a mass of hair and muscle of more than 5 meters.
That being so, Tilum together with the generals decided to start focusing on the apes. Again using the weakness of hair.
Hair is a good natural cover against the cold and depending on what situations or what races, it is also a good armor. But in this case it was a very flammable target.
The basic magic of the salamandrs fell upon the apes turning them into agonizing torches, their pain transformed into madness, striking at everything around them, enemy and ally alike.
The leader of this group of apes, was the leader of the American alliance {Wargiants}, being the architect of this attack in order to conquer what is really the base of Tilum, the (Black Mountains), a volcanic area where Tilum and his allies live in a small subway city.
The reason for the desire to obtain this land was born of its riches and its current owner.
The amount of minerals, such as Volcanic Iron or Red Obsidian, are perfect for armor and weapons, both for their huge veins and their ease of forging.
The other great point is that Tilum, the second reincarnated and owner of the first faction of Imps, lived there.
How much honor it would give his guild if he defeated one of the most powerful reincarnates, they would be filled with glory, many businesses would knock on their doors for him and his companions to go out promoting their products or how many fans they would have. In addition, this honor and fame would give rise to many alliances wanting to form coalitions, commercial pacts or directly becoming his followers and submissive states.
Among all it had to be emphasized that this 'giant' was not stupid at all, he had planned everything perfectly, preventing someone as serious as Tilum, it was impossible for him to destroy his supplies or even prevent him from entering his territory. It was only now, army against army, that Tilum was able to do anything against him.
Of all the benefits, glory was the most important point for this alliance, of the first three reincarnated and among the most powerful, Tilum was the most accessible.
The little emperatrix lived in the central ocean, where only a small stone bridge allows you to approach a stop, where water wizards and mages generate bubbles so that the merchants can descend to the small city. These merchants were transported by tamed creatures and could not leave the route.
In other words, a large land army like hers was impossible, even to attack head-on, and only if she and her armies went ashore could she fight against them.
Instead the third reincarnate... he was the worst of the three, his unique faction specializes in warfare, they are bloodthirsty and belligerent beasts, he created a mercenary faction and anyone who can pay a price could get a few dozen of his units. Many would think that a few dozen are nothing more than a drop in the bucket of a war, but that was not the case.
Their absurd abilities and crazy stats transformed these mere dozens of soldiers into angels of death.
Among their known abilities, one is known to increase their strength and defenses, both magical and physical per number of enemies.
In other words, they loved to fight large armies and would almost certainly end up defeating them. Now think, if a few dozen are enough to cause panic, imagine several hundred of them?
That's why of all the lords, no one dares to attack the third reincarnate.
The giant apes were beginning to fall, but not before taking dozens of enemies and allies with them. The salamander mages were completely exhausted, the artillery had stopped firing just before the arrival of the apes, because the enemy was too close to hit them without causing allied casualties.
The leftover harpy and storm crow units began to attack the archer troops and the exhausted mages, stopping the barrage of shells.
The lines were falling.
Tilum's body was bloodied, riddled with wounds and bathed in enemy blood, but his mind was still occupied with what his next move would be.
Defeat was not an option, right behind him was his home, with his people, small children and all his work in almost 3 years in LAZ.
(Author's Note: Time in LAZ is 6 times faster than in reality, that's why about half a year ends in 2 years almost 3 in LAZ).
At that time his right hand man and lord of the dwarves in the black mountain, Bergit, had an idea.
More like a well thought out madness, but for Tilum, a hope.
With their orders ready, the captains and generals shouted.
The strategy was to turn them completely around, break through their lines and let them pass, transform their broken defense into a siege.
If they succeeded, the enemies, with the exception of the flyers, would be trapped inside, without their resource wagons, without anything.
While they would only have to hold the line and continue to receive their supply wagons, moreover, they would have the ability to snatch their resources.
This strategy also meant losing the advantage of defense in a better position and having to hold an impenetrable line against the enemies until they were worn out, seeing as they had already been in frantic battle for over an hour and a half and after running all the way up the hill, they should not have much strength left.
With their thrust, the reincarnated units began to punch holes and enter them, reaching their rear and forcing them into a ball. The dwarven artillery had been dismantled to prevent the enemies from misusing them and the ammunition thrown at the players, albeit rolling on the ground downhill.
While the infantry units, archers and mages, enveloped the opponent, the wolf imps charged against the ranged units that were even further to the rear, these without the protection of the infantry wall began to drop like flies.
The {Wargiants} leader did not know how to react, he did not know what they were trying to do until he saw the reincarnate units forming a line behind his troops and pushing them further and further into the center and higher, it was too late. With his last forces he was able to wipe out many units that had fallen behind in the center, being annihilated.
This was one of the flaws of this strategy, the last ones to go outside would be dead without any doubt, being a simple sacrifice.
Due to exhaustion and constant slaughter, the player units had fallen drastically, while the reincarnated slightly outnumbered them, being able to enclose them in a circle.
This circle was slowly closing, very slowly, but with it, more of Tilum's troops and his allies could stop fighting and rest, soon these fresher units would go out to battle leaving those in the front to rest, while the player units had no pause, just when they had no faith in victory, Tilum decided to finish them off, he began to burn their resource wagons in front of them. Seeing their food and water evaporate or turn to ash there was no desire for glory left.
If they did not surrender they would not have the strength to return to their respective homes.
With this final hammering, Tilum achieved a pyrrhic victory, but a victory nonetheless.
