At work, Amber was running through some files like her life depended on it. Ajax had been cold lately.
Wasn't it just last week Friday we hung out together? Why was he treating me like a stranger!
Kira barged in to her office. "Wow, it smells really good here. What's your secret?" She asks Amber.
Amber frowned. "You know, normal people usually knock. But I guess I can understand your situation."
For no reason, Kira just loved picking fights with her.
"Well, there's someone downstairs waiting for you. Or is it for Mr. Hulls? Some woman named Maya Wi–"
"Sis Maya? What the hell is she looking for here!" Amber blinked in shock, then hurried downstairs to meet her.
Maya was on a really short dress and had a heavy sunshade on. She had makeup on as well, and looked exceptionally good with her black hair flowing loose down her neck.
She took off the shades and smiled as she saw Amber. "I knew she would bring you to me."
