"Is everything okay, Amber?" Hudson frowned as he noticed she looked sad all of a sudden.
Amber blinked. "Oh, yes. I'm fine." She forced herself to say.
"Okay then, that's a good thing. So, will you consider my request?" He asked again.
This made Amber to frown, but she said anyway, "I'll see what I can do–"
"--thank you so mu–"
"--but I can't promise," Amber shut him a warning glance to stop him from talking. "But I can't really make any promises since this company doesn't belong to me, so don't get your hopes high." She quickly added.
It didn't help relieve Hudson but he forced a smile. "Sure thing. Thank you," he said to her.
Amber's phone was ringing, she suddenly noticed. "Oh, I have to pick this." She said to him.
"Oh yea yea, sure. Uh, hey, I ordered dinner from your favorite restaurant. It's lasagna time." Hudson announced.
