After swimming for 20 minutes or so, they finally reached the shore. They sat there for a while to catch their breaths. After sitting for a while, Zeth spoke.
"Nothing makes any sense."
"What do you mean?" Sarina asked
"Surviving a plane crash in the ocean and then finding an island—what do you think the odds are? And also, to my knowledge, there wasn't supposed to be any island on our way."
"You are probably just thinking too much."
"No, I am pretty sure all of this is not normal, but I guess there is nothing we can do about it right now," he said while standing up.
"I forgot to thank you for your help." She also stood up.
"Don't mention it." He helped her stand up, as she was still injured.
Zeth continued talking.
"Let's take a look at the island because it looks like we'll be here for a while."
"Yeh, let's go."
"Do you need help to walk?" Zeth asked.
"You do know that you are in worse condition, right?" She said that with a smile.
"I am fine... let's go"
His injuries were in better condition now, but he was still covered in blood. He lost enough blood to die, but he was still walking without much trouble.
They entered the island. There wasn't anything special about this place; it looked like a normal island, but it was much bigger than they thought it would be. They kept exploring for a while; there were a lot of trees, and they could also see many animals. It was like a small jungle.
After exploring for a while, Zeth stood in front of a really big rock. When he looked up, he could see a man. As soon as Zeth looked at him, the man looked back and shouted.
"HEY" while hanging his hand
Zeth was surprised as to how he got there and how he would get down. He was still thinking when the man jumped without thinking much.
Sarina was also there; now she also witnessed that man jumping down from a height that could easily break all the bones in his body.
The man landed in front of Zeth. The surface he landed on was shattered, but he looked fine.
He looked at Zeth for a while and asked
"Do I know you?"
The unknown man was really handsome; he had black hair and green eyes, and he was also quite tall.
Zeth replied to his question.
"I don't remember seeing you before."
"You don't need to know me for me to know you."
The man looked concerned, and now he was also looking a little scary.
In a threatening tone, he asked
"Are you the one named Zeth Bronze?"
Zeth was shocked. He wasn't expecting anyone to know about him here, even though he was surprised. Zeth was far from scared.
In a confident tone, he replied
"What if I am?"
A right hook followed Zeth as soon as he said that, but luckily he dodged it in time.
Sarina, who was looking from the sidelines, now seemed to remember the news her sister told her about.
Zeth Bronze, who tortured and killed a person in his own house, left the country before the dead body was even found. The condition of the dead body was so bad that the news spread all over the world as to how cruel a person can be. Even still, half the world was supporting Zeth for what he did, as the person he killed wasn't really a good person.
Zeth and that unknown person were still fighting, and the fight was in Zeth's favor even though the person Zeth was fighting with was far from a normal person and Zeth wasn't really using better fighting techniques. If talking about the techniques, the other person was using techniques far more advanced than Zeth, but Zeth was overpowering him with sheer strength even though Zeth wasn't completely healed yet.
It looked like the fight would end soon. Zeth was going to land the finishing blow when the unknown person mumbled to himself.
"Core Unlock"
As soon as he said that the pressure around him changed, it felt like the force of gravity increased around him. Intuitively, Zeth increased the distance between them.
The unknown man took his stance. Zeth was ready for him, but maybe not.
There was a good amount of distance between them, but that was covered in less than a second by that man. Zeth didn't even blink, and that man was right in front of him, launching a right hook with full intensity.
Zeth blocked by crossing both arms, but the force was so intense that he flew back, and his back was smashed into that big rock, breaking some pieces of the rock.
Now both of Zeth's arms were broken, and he was bleeding from his mouth before the unknown man could get close to him. Sarina stood between them, and the unknown man asked
"Who are you?"
Without answering his question, Sarina asked
"How can you unlock your core to fight a normal civilian?"
"That monster looks normal to you. Do you even know what he did?"
"Zeth Bronze wanted to brutally kill a man in his own house after torturing him for weeks. News also said that Zeth tried to keep the person alive for as long as possible so he could suffer."
"If you know that much, then why are you helping him? Should I assume that you are also working with him?"
"I am not working with him, but I don't think he did anything wrong."
"So torturing and killing a person isn't wrong anymore?"
"It's not when the next person is a serial killer."
"What do you mean?"
Zeth was breathing heavily; he was badly injured, so he didn't even try to stand up. He was thinking to himself.

While thinking all that, Zeth lost consciousness.
