Zeth opened his eyes and realized that Sarina was giving him a piggyback ride.
"You're awake?" Sarina asked
"Yeh," Zeth said in a low voice, as he was still hurt.
Before Zeth could ask anything about the unknown person, the same person came from behind a bush.
"Stop following us," Sarina said in an annoyed manner.
"Please listen, it was a misunderstanding. Okay, I heard the news wrong. I thought Zeth Bronze was a serial killer."
"I don't care; you nearly killed him, and how can you go all out on a civilian anyway?"
"That's not my fault; if I held back, I would've been the one getting a piggyback ride. Now that I think about it, I missed an opportunity." The unknown person looked disappointed.
Zeth asked Sarina, who was still walking.
"What did I miss? Who is that guy?"
"I don't know him; he kept following us after your fight with him."
"I feel like there's still something you are hiding from me... It's fine, I guess."
"This is not the time to explain everything."
The unknown person got close to them and started talking to Zeth.
"Hey, sorry about what happened. Okay, I know I was rash, and a sorry won't solve everything."
"It's fine, I don't care."
"Huh?"
"Don't worry about it."
"What do you mean not to worry about it? He nearly killed you," Sarina said in a louder voice than usual.
"I can't blame him. Thanks for worrying about me, though."
"Tsk whatever," Sarina replied.
"Who are you?" Zeth asked the unknown person
"Oh me, I am Oscar Esther."
"So you are an Esther after all," Sarina said.
"I know about him, but what's the name of the beautiful lady here?" Oscar asked
"Sarina Gonzalez," Sarina replied.
"Gonzalez, that makes sense then."
"Are you guys part of a cult or something?" Zeth asked
"NOO." Both replied at the same time.
"Whatever, where are we going?" Zeth asked
"We will be there soon," Sarina replied.
Sarina was still giving Zeth a piggyback ride, so Oscar asked
"I can take him if you are tired."
"I am not tired; he isn't that heavy."
"He looks heavy to me."
"Are you jealous, dude?" Zeth asked Oscar while teasing him.
"No, of course not." Oscar looked away while saying that.
Zeth smiled at his reaction.
"I can walk now; it won't be much trouble."
"It's fine, rest a little longer," Sarina replied.
"Sure"
Even after walking for a while with Zeth on her back, Sarina didn't look tired at all.
Zeth asked Oscar
"You were also on the plane, right?"
"Yeh, unlike you, all of us couldn't just sleep."
"You saw me?"
"Of course I did; first you looked like a maniac, then you looked like someone who accepted his death with grace... You are a strange one."
"How did you reach the island?" Sarina asked
"I fell from the plane."
"Huh?"
"Yeh, I fell much earlier, and I had to swim all the way. I reached an hour before you guys did."
"How much did you swim?" Sarina asked
"A lot.. I could hardly see the islandĀ first.
"You didn't find anyone else on this island? Sarina asked
"No, you guys were the first people I saw."
"We are here. She should be here," Sarina said.
"You can put me down now," Zeth said.
"Ah sure"
"Thanks for the ride."
"Don't mention it," Sarina said with a smile.
"Tch, lucky man," Oscar said.
Zeth stood on his own two feet. He was extremely tired, as the amount of blood he lost today was no joke and his injuries were still not completely healed. Oscar helped him stand up.
"You are here for Aly," Zeth asked while Oscar was helping him stand up.
"Yeh, she should be here just a little further, and we'll find her."
Zeth still had a lot of questions, but he thought this wasn't the best time to ask them, so he waited.
After walking for a little while, they saw a man with blonde hair drinking water from a small lake. After getting closer, Sarina finally saw Aly after the crash.
As soon as they saw each other, they ran towards each other and hugged.
"Are you okay?" Sarina asked
"I am fine, but what about you? Did you injure your head?" Aly asked
"Oh, don't worry about me," Sarina hugged Aly again.
After some time, they all introduced each other again, and Aly told Sarina about the person she was with.
"My name is Zephyr, and it's a pleasure to meet you," he said without showing any emotion.
It looked like he wasn't the type to talk much.
Now it was evening, and it was getting darker every moment, so they decided to find a place to spend the night.
