As the day turned to night, my anxiety intensified. The sun had disappeared, and the moon loomed overhead, yet there was still no trace of Prince Killian. I pondered whether he was intentionally postponing our encounter, prolonging my agony of waiting.

Simultaneously, I found solace in the time delay. My emotions were haywire. They were at war within me. I was torn between two feelings: an urgency to meet him and be done with the interrogation and a reluctance to face him at all.

Just as I was about to give up, I felt a presence in the room. My heart skipped a beat, thinking that it was Prince Killian. But when I looked up, I saw someone I didn't want to see at that time. This man was the reason behind my problem. 

"What are you doing here?" I demanded, trying to sound brave despite my trembling voice.

The man's amused chuckle only added to my growing irritation. "Is that the way you treat your savior?" he asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
